Below text from Lucio Joao Mascarenhas site( ) trying to incite goans to revolt against the Indian govt. It is interesting to note that whereas Lucio wants Goans in goa to sacrifice their lives he (i.e. Lucio Joao Mascarenhas) is himself hiding like a Rat in bombay.

My (i.e. Lucio Joao Mascarenhas ) native village is Sangoddya, or what is called in Portuguese, Sangolda, in the Consuelho da Bardez. Although I was born and brought up in amche Bommai (Bombay), my father would take up on an annual summer pilgrimage to our gaum — a Goan tradition.

My father's family hailed from the Livrant Vaddo or Livramento Vaddo, so called because of the grandiose kapel of Nossa Senhora da Livramento, Livrant-Saibin. Yet, because my father's house was small, we would stay at my Tia Merzelin's much larger house in the novo Vaddo of Belavist (Portuguese, Belavista). Belavista, it seems, is the name of the road that cuts off from the main arterial north-south highway connecting the city of Mapsa (Port., Mapuça), which is the regional capital of Bardez, to Ponjhe, the capital of Portuguese India, at the Alt-Porvorim junction (where the famous restaurant O Coqueiro! is situated), on the way back from Ponjhe, and cuts through Sangoddya and Guirim before rejoining the highway just shy of Mapsa. In an act of brazen effrontery, which was keenly felt even then, in my childhood, we learnt that the invaders had 'renamed' this the CHOGM Road, in honour of a British Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting held under the auspices of Mrs. Indira Gandhi, the prime minister of the Indian Union, one session of the meeting being held in the Occupied EIP.

Belavist was created during Portuguese times from what was the village commons, land owned by the Communidade. The area was till then semi-arid and devoted entirely to seasonal cultivation on terraced fields, which terraces still survive to this day on my aunt's property.

Between Belavist and the main highway, to its east, interposes a large hill. This hill begins from the Alt-Porvorim junction, subsides on the way north, then rises gradually again between Belavist and the highway till it ends abruptly in steep slopes above Livrant, which lies on its northern coasts, and Porvoriche Tisro, at its northeastern end, just above the beautiful kapel of Sant Ana. The low-lying southern part, towards Alt-Porvorim, has always, as far as I remember, being inhabitated, but the northern part, between Belavist, the highway and Livrant at its north, was covered by jungles.

As kids, we used to frequently go up for walks on this hill, amidst these forests. My uncle, Antonio Pinto, a Saugaumkar, used to take us there. It was our favourite haunt, to go up into the hill above Tia Merzelin's house and explore the shaddy forests. I remember that there used to be just one house on this part of the hill, located nearly on the junction where the northern and southern parts of the hill sloped to meet each other. A footpath cut over the hill at this point, with stone steps going up for a short distance and then a path, leading from Belavist to the highway, bypassing this house. But the house was never inhabitated, every time that I had seen it. It just lay there lonely and forlorn, surrounded by jungles on all sides and far away from the nearest house.

Tio Anton would take us for long walks towards the northern edges of the hill; frequently, we arrived at the rather sharp slope that takes one down to the kapel of Livrant-Saibin. A few times we actually descended this slope, however, it was not without its risks, and Tio Anton never preffered it. When we used to go to the kapel on Sundays, it was always by the roundabout route, skirting the hill's north-western corner at the end of Belavist, and then taking the steep road up to the kapel above Livrant Vaddo.

In the midst of the jungles that covered the hill, we would frequently arrive at an abandoned rock-quarry, now a deep pit with a little water at its bottom, and the whole thing overgrown with vegetations, from which echoed the cries of many unseen birds. This was our favourite, though not Tio Anton's, with his fears of us falling in.

However, as we grew up, and my father too aged, we missed many summer pilgrimages, mainly due to the pressure of high school and college. It was many years before I returned to the gaum, my nose thrilling to beloved scents and with fond expectations of finding again my childhood haunts. Leaving my aunt's home, we went up the beloved hill, only to be shocked by the sight of shanties having sprung up all over the place, even coming down close to my aunt's house, and the jungle having been cleared away. The whole thing reminded me of the slums of Bommai, places such as Dharavi. There were rough huts, zopdem made of bamboo sticks and with jute sack-cloth and bamboo netting for walls. And, horror of horrors, we found the whole hill littered with human excreta, with no proper toilets built for this settlement.

My aunts and uncles told us that the hill above was, till the edges where it fell down, the commons of Porvorim. Mrs. Indira Gandhi had initiated something called the Fourteen Point Program which was supposed to help the poor and homeless; this involved the distribution of the commons to such 'poor and homeless.' Needless to add, the main - in fact, sole beneficiaries of this largesse at the Goans' expense were the Indian Union's indigents who flooded the EIP after its occupation: Andhras and Kannadigas, with a sprinkling of other peoples from the Indian Union. As the years went by, this slum grew and grew, and today it has approached the edge of the hill directly above Livrant-Saibin's kapel.

More ominous is the fact that a Hindu temple is being built at this exact spot, right over the kapel. From the bus vending through the fields, as one looks up at the morods, one sees, prominently, where I earnestly sought out the welcome visage of the holy kapel, this horrible dæmonarium standing proud and tall over the towering trees that shield Livrant-Saibin's kapel from view on all sides. This was in June 2000, the last time I had visited my beloved gaum. What has happened since I don't know; but I know that the same trend that I last saw is continuing at a furious pace — the deliberate, purposeful transformation - colonization and urbanization - of the Goan landscape and demography.

After my visit to the hill, we had gone visiting to Shiolim, Oshel, Koingot, Kandoi and to many other places. Everywhere, I saw the same thing — the ominous, triumphant proliferation of new and underconstruction pagodas; emblem of the Hindu colonization of Goa, of the de-Christianization of Goa.

Every time I hear Goan songs, I hear the sad, plaintive whining over the sad plight that the Goans find themselves in. I have always asked, and I ask even today, what keeps you from taking up arms and stopping this onslaught, this rape of our beloved Goa? Why waste time and precious energy in vain crying and whining, when our present duty is to make war, to avenge and to end this holocaust?

Cry, beloved Goa, my woe-begone country, cry, for your sons and daughters are too dumb, too stupid and too cowardly to wake up and to fight. These are not red-blooded men, who are zealous for their rights and honour: these are, apparently, some bastard breed, spineless cowards and knaves, the whole lot of them. Who knows who bred them? Certainly not my beloved mother Goa!

A Broadsheet Against Indian Hypocricy
Today, the Hindus, celebrating their triumph, are everywhere mocking the Christians and promising them further destruction, even absolute extermination. Unreasoning hatred and fear of Hindustani nationality…?

The Hindu Neo-Nazis are a bunch of mendacious hypocrites. They like to pretend that Hinduism and Hindus have never done any wrong or injured anybody. Part of that falsehood is the claim that Hindu princes, kings and adventurers did not invade and colonize, as did people in other cultures.

Any one conversant with Indian history — even a schoolboy — ought to know that no rational and honest man can or ought to pretend or accept and countenance, even for a second, such a foolish and poisonous pretence, that Indian rules, princes and adventurers did not commit aggression against others, invade and colonize other lands and subjugate other peoples. The record of Indian history is too long, consistent and well-known to justify any such pretence.

The history of Hindu India begins with the Aryans and their invasions, colonisation, enslavement of the pre-Aryan peoples of India, whom they denigrated as the "Dasyus" or "Dasas" — the "Slave Peoples." The first settlement of the Aryans was in what is now north Pakistan, the Paktoonkhwa and West Punjab regions, that they named as "Aryavarta" — the Abode of the Aryans. Later, they penetrated the Gangetic plains, which they named "Madhya-Desa" — the Middle Country, even as they began to push beyond into Vanga, modern Bengal, and into the Trans-Vindhyan regions south of the Vindhya Mountains. Even today, emigrants from the "Madhya Desa" are called as "Madhesias" in Nepal.

During this process, the aborigines who escaped domestication as sub-human slaves, fled into the jungles and hills of the Deccan plateau and into the Brahmaputra Valley, to the east. They became the "Adivasis", which word means "Aborigines." These are the Kols, the Mundas, the Mon, the Khmers, the Ho, the Santhals, the Bhils and Bhilavas, the Gonds, etc.

India never entertained the concept of unitarianism — the concept of being one country. Rather, India was always considered to consist of innumerable little countries, called "Desams," which were constantly at war among themselves. Part of the reason for this was the Brahmin agenda of keeping the powerful Kshatriya caste pre-occupied and thus off-balance, thereby preventing them from paying attention to the fact that the Brahmins were lording over them, and, as in the western Aryan lands, Iran, and as attempted several times in India, that they do not unite and overthrow the Brahmin parasites.

Yet, the process of invasions of even more lands and of the subjugation of even more people never stopped while the Hindus were free.

Shortly after penetrating Vanga, an Aryan by the name of Singhal, which means "Of the Lion", led an expedition to conquer and colonize the island of Ceylon, thus founding the Sinhala nation and kingdom there.

The Tamil epics are full of accounts of Aryan invasions, complete with chariots and horses, of the Tamil homeland. Over time, the Hindus came to assimilate and dominate even the Tamils, and integrated them into the greater Indian civilisation. Shortly after Asoka, the Mauryan emperor, embraced Buddhism, thus ceasing to be a Hindu, those of his Hindu subjects who choose to retain their Hinduism, complete with its racism, xenophobia and misanthropy, emigrated south of the Vindhyas in a huge wave, and settled in the lands immediately to the east of the Concan. They called themselves "the Great Nation," or "Maharashtra." Seen no records of what they did to and with the aborigines, but, given their track record, it could not have been anything pretty.

Hindu rulers and brahmins who used Vanga (Bengal) and Tamil Nadu as their spring boards, began to explore the Bay of Bengal, the Sunda Archipelago, the Indo-China landmass, reaching upto the Philippines, which also they colonized. Their remnants were integrated into the Great Malay Empire and then into fragments of Malay states, surviving as the local royalty — the "Putras" and "Putris" of South East Asia and of Mindanao. These names actually merely means "sons" and "daughters", but they have acquired, in South East Asia, the meaning of "princes" and "princesses" — testimony to India's and Hinduism's enduring legacy of colonisation and conquest.

A Brahmin named "Kaundinya" invaded what is modern Cambodia, defeated a local princess whom he wed, and founded the Champa nation. Later the Champas — who by then had adopted Islam — were displaced into what is now South Vietnam, where they survive as a minority people.

The Champa people were themselves displaced from Cambodia by another Indian group, the Kambojas, who gave the country its present name. The Kamboja dynasty founded the city of Angkor Wat.

Other Hindu invaders founded the Sri Vijaya and Sailendra Empires, the cities of Jakarta (Jaya-Kshetram) and of Singapore (Sinhapuram), among others.

In the history of Krishna, who is regarded as a "god" by the Hindus, it is narrated that he led an expedition to the lands on the other side of the Arabian Sea, going on till he found a large river which was named "Krishna" after him, its discoverer, leaving colonies behind. Scholars have speculated that these lands would be Somalia, Ethiopia and the Sudan, and the river, the Nile.

Shivaji Bhonsale was so eager to revive these Hindu traditions, long lost due to the Islamic onslaught, that he fitted out and led a Naval Expedition to Muscat, Oman.

Hindu Professionals
Hindu engineers and other professionals from Indian Universities tend to gravitate towards the Right wing hindu Sangh Parivar, even in America and wherever the Indian Diaspora is.

Female Foeticide / Infanticide among Hindus
If one checks the newspapers in India one will find it is mostly the Hindus educated as well as un-educated poor as well as rich indulging in female foeticide/infanticide. In states like Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Maharashtra there are less than 900 hindu females for every 1000 Hindu males. The only state in India where there are more females is Kerala.

Indias Population
Hindus ( obc, upper class, lower class, middle class, etc) 850 million. Muslims (obc, upper class, lower class, middle class, etc) 130 million. Christians (obc, upper class, lower class, middle class, etc) 20 million. Other minorities 10 to 50 million. India's total population more than 1 billion. In the next 10 years India will overtake China in population. The Indian governments family planning scheme of two child policy has not been effective because it has not been enforced vigourously.

Is Sonia Gandhi A Christian?
The Hindu Nazi is fond of alleging that Sonia Gandhi, nee Antonia Maino, is a Christian. It is true that the woman in question was born a Christian, an Italian. However, it is also true that she "married" a Hindu, Rajeev Gandhi, according to Hindu rites - specifically those of the Arya Samaj. By that act, she apostasized from Christianity.

The rules of Christianity are strict and admit of no compromise or dilution. To take part wilfully in the "worship" rituals of any pagan religion, or of Judaism, Islam, etc., is to apostasize and to abandon Christianity. There is a procedure for those who wish to return, but she has not done that.

On the contrary, she has lived as a Hindu ever since her "marriage" (which is not recognized as legitimate, either, by Christianity, which sees her cohabitation with the late Mr. Gandhi as mere concubinage!)

This fact is further underlined when one considers that her daughter married Robert Wadhera, himself of mixed parentage, again according to Arya Samaj rites. By these acts, she has consistently demonstrated that she is an apostate to Hindu paganism, and therefore no longer a Christian.

The Myth of Hindu Tolerance
The Hindus make a song and dance of their tolerance of others. In matter of fact, their record speaks against them.

The history of Hindu India is the history of the invasion of India by the Aryan Hindus, their colonization, enslavement of its native people and their de-humanization. Today, the Hindu Nazis like to pretend that the Aryans were indigenous to India, born as a result of a local, social reform movement. However, their own historical records belie this modern invented history.

The ancient histories of the Aryans, and thus of the Hindus, identify the original homeland of the Aryans as being what is called the Uttara (or Northern) Kuru. This land is recognized as being outside of the lands that the Aryans latter settled, what became India and Iran. In both Hinduism and Buddhism, this tradition of Uttara Kuru is taken up, and that country is idealized as a paradisical land, to which the souls of the "virtuous" departed repair in order to enjoy their rewards. But there is yet another incident recorded in the ancient Aryan histories which also belies this modern invented history - it is the fact that the Aryans, when they invaded the Gangetic plains for the first time, from the Indus, found it populated with sophiticated and civilized Nagas. The record goes on to say that the Aryans did not have the art or technology to build cities as the Nagas had, and so they utilized the services of a captured Naga architect, a Prisoner-of-War, to design the first Aryan city in the Gangetic plains - Hastinapura — the forerunner of the latter city of Dilika, modern Delhi!

The Nagas were overwhelmed by the brutal Aryan invaders. One segment fled eastwards to modern Nagalim, Burma, Yunnan, etc., while remnants survived in the Gangetic plains and made sporadic efforts to regain their lost glory and pre-eminence. The last recorded effort happened during the time of the Mauryan Empire, and the Mauryan emperor (Ajatshatru?) is recorded to have put them down brutally and expelled them to slave colonies in what is now Vidarbha (British Berars), by what is now the Naga river, and where the city of Nagpur (Nagapuram) presently stands. Since then, the Naga remnant in Peninsular India and in the Gangetic plains have been extinguished and never again made an effort to rebel...

The Aryans not only colonized India, they even deliberately degraded the conquered pre-Aryan Indians in order to prevent their recovery of the dominion over India. The Hindu "Scriptures" forbade learning to these enslaved peoples, whom they denigrated as "Shudra" and "Malich" or "Mlechhas", and mandated savage punishments if they did. That is why the Kshatriya, Rama, Prince of Koshal, murdered Tsambuk the Shudra at the Brahmins' urging, for having taken to religion.

Due to the racist, misanthropic and xenophobic attitude of the Aryans, the Nagas, once a sophisticated, urbane people, were degraded and reduced to a savage, barbarous people at the time of the European Contact, subsequent to the landing of Vasco da Gama. The Nagas in Nagalim, divided between the Indian Union's and Burma's possessions, are something like a total of about twenty-four distinct nations, each with its own distinct language. And yet, they are reduced to inhabitating only a small corner of the Patkai Mountains!

The English explorers in the former Thai Kingdom of Asom, which they liberated from the Burmese Empire, found the Nagas a savage, head-hunting people. A far cry from the civilized, city-dwellers that the Aryans first encountered! This is what the impact of the Aryans have done to the Nagas!

The early history of Hinduism is dominated by the rivalry of the two highest castes - the Brahmins and Kshatriyas, vying for supremacy. Thrice, Kshatriya led reforms resulted in schisms from Hinduism and the formation of new religions - Zorastrianism, Jainism and Buddhism. In Iran, the Kshatriyas entirely eliminated the Brahmins. In India, the Brahmins came to dominate society, and, in order to keep it subjugated, guided the Kshatriyas to continously war among themselves, carving India into a thousand petty principalities.

The History of Hinduism is rife with bitter, savage fights, mainly between the rival sects of Vaishnav and Shaiva, with Brahma counting for practically nothing - both parties identifying the later invention of the super god even over the highest triad or Trimurti of Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma, the super god called variously the Param-Atma (Super-Soul) and the Brahma-Atma (Universal Soul) or in short, the Brahmaan, with their own favourite of the gods of the triad, Vishnu or Shiva. The adherents of each sect perpetrated horrenduous pogroms against their rivals.

Again, after the restoration of Hinduism, the Hindus were riven into two rival sects of Advaitwad and Dvaitwad - Monism and Dualism. The Monists affirm that all souls, even the purported 'souls' of sticks and stones, vehicles, machines, plants and animals, are broken off fragments of the Universal Soul, the latter invented god Brahmaan, and thus in themselves gods, while the Dualists affirm that these souls are really separate, not part of the Divine Substance but merely creatures. Again, Hindu Intolerance was not entirely internal. It also found expression in xenophobia. The Aryan Hindus derided the native Indians - the Negroid Dravidians of the Indus river basin, and the Mongoloid Nagas of the Gangetic basin and their religions and rites as demons and snakes (nagas) and demonic, and ruthlessly conquered, enslaved and massacred them. That attitude still survives today. Again, the Hindus brutually persecuted the Jains and Buddhists, as they also did the Christians when Christianity first came to India, until the spreading Muslim conquest took away from them the power to do so. [Thre is a Jain book which recounts how the Hindus, under Sankaracharya, persecuted the Jains, and had Jain literature destroyed. In Brajdesh, boatloads of Jain literature were sunk in the river, in order to destroy the Jain religion...]

It is true that at times, Hindu kings have solicited and permitted Christians to settle in their lands and turned a blind eye to the missionary endeavour. However, this is not due to the mythical Hindu virtue of tolerance, but because of personal pragmaticism.

Kings permitted Christians to settle as part of a general effort to increase and maximise their revenues by opening more land to agriculture and husbandry, and these invitations were not specifically directed to or restricted to Christians. In other cases, kings permitted missionaries into their kingdoms out of ignorance of the offense that the missionary endeavour would cause to the native pagans. When, however, this became apparent, the kings expelled or forbade entry, where possible, and missionaries had to enter 'illegally' or with the help of the then Christian powers - such as Portugal, Spain, France, etc. in order to fulfil the commandment of God to preach the truth and salvation to souls.

Are the Hindus a tolerant people?
The Hindus arrogantly and inconsiderately insist on thrusting their religion down the throats of one and all at all times of the day and night.

We have, from the time to time seen the city brought to a complete halt, and overrun by the Hindus proudly flaunting their ridiculous and grotesque idols on the way to dumping them in the nearest sewer - all this in the name of Hindu piety!

We have been subjected to blaring loudspeakers, day in and day out. We have had the good fortune to be subjected and exposed to the brain-numbing, and irrationally, obtrusive, loud, high-decibel garbage of a cacophony, at very close quartersand all at all times of the day and night.

We have been subjected, not only to a zombifying cacophony at close quarters, We have been also subjected for days on end, every year, to the spectacle of barbarous scenes, inhuman, bestial, demonic dancing on the streets as these devotees accompanied their bestial idols to the sewers to be dumped. Scenes that never failed to conjure up, and realize the word-pictures of Sodom and Gommorah, and all the abominations that these illustrious cities are associated with.

From the time we have been subjected, willy-nilly, also to the explosion of loud crackers that have made the buildings, shiver and quake - literally. But the Hindus never mind that. They do not also mind exploding series of fire-crackers in narrow passageways or on wooden stairways, putting the building at risk of a fire or collapse. We wonder what the vibrations would be doing to the more than fifty year old structure.

From the time we have been witness to the humaneness and consideration of the Hindus as they lighted off tons of firecrackers during their festivals which gave off a huge quantity of noxious fumes direct into our homes.

It is, of course, commonsense, that not all asthmatics and others who ail from some illness, are non-Hindus. There are Hindu asthmatics and Hindus too who suffer from some ailment or the other.

To be fair to the Hindus, they are considerate in their inconsiderateness - they certainly do not discriminate. They make a nuisance of themselves to one and all, even to their own co-religionists.

It does not matter that some child is preparing for his school exams. It does not matter that some family is in mourning. It does not matter that some family has some old and ailing member who cannot bear the pain of loud noises, of loud firecrackers and loud cacophonies. The Hindu, in his overpowering and insane "joy", which he insists on thrusting down the throats of one and all, as being his considerateness and tolerance, will inflict his nuisance on one and all - Hindu, Christian, Muslim, Sikh, whatever.

If the Hindu is kind and loving, tolerant and considerate of his non-Hindu neighbour in the residential districts, what shall we say of the workplace? we have experienced first-hand Hindu lovingness, consideration and tolerance even here.

We have walked out of job after job because we ware required to worship the Hindu idols, to garland their idols and play "hymns" to these ridiculous and grotesque idols. We have had to fight off Hindus who out of their considerateness and tolerance and lovingness, insisted on imposing their impieties upon us.

In India, the vast majority of Christians, or those who masquerade as Christians, have surrendered quietly and meekly to these blasphemies. To please their bosses, their employers and colleagues, they have betrayed Yahweh and Christ, disregarded the Commandments and have become, for all practical purposes, apostates and pagans. All this is due to Hindu lovingness and kindness and considerateness and tolerance. Amen.

It was not only the Dalits who were badworded with gusto and pleasure, but even Christians and Muslims, who were patronized as having abandoned Hinduism for "foreign" religions! All these unprovoked verbal and psychological assaults, this endearing dehumanization, is, of course, an integral part of the endearing Hindu all-lovingness, inoffensiveness, innocence, considerateness, tolerance.

For days on end, processions after processions of Hindus vended their way outside our windows, on the street outside, to dump their ridiculous and grotesque idols in the sewers. In the process, out of their tolerance and considerateness, they marinated us with their cacophonies and loud firecrackers. And, despite the law, and despite the ubiquitous presence of the police at every naka and chowk, they exploded fire crackers even at 3 am in the morning!

[Every one in Bombay knows that the police belong and exist solely to justify the Hindus, to protect them against recriminations from others. Any doubts?]

During this same "Ganpati", the local whorehouse on the way from the railway station to our home, a pub that features dancing girls in skimpy outfits, had cordoned off the sidewalk, in order to dispense free "vadapao" to these "devotees" - probably as a means of "piety." Since the sidewalk was closed, we were forced to walk on the street, besides the trucks bearing these "devotees." Our mistake. These vermin, hateful scum and monsters in human form gleefully showered us with, and desecrated our office clothes with their vile powders!

Hindu Terrorism against Dalits
A new atrocity on the Dalits, this time in Jhajjar, Haryana, a short distance from the Indian Union's capital. So: What's new? The juggernaut of Hindu revivalism, and all its attendant evils and atrocities against the Dalits and minorities, rolls on, unhindered by the Union government and the opposition parties, who in fact, not too shyly, encourage, participate and justify it. So roll on it does, bulldozing the already dreary mindscape of modern India into an even more sterile, barren wasteland, the Ramarajya of fond expectations. Every time governments mock us and our outrage by turning a Nelson's eye to the going-ons. "Wrong-doing? Where is the wrongdoing?" They ask in surprise. What makes things worse is that not only are the police lumpen, but that they have thrown off all pretense of neutrality and have become active and enthusiastic participants in this program of subversion.

Governments and authorities react to urban outrage by claiming helplessness. Whyever should they be helpless? Whatever happened to draconian anti-terrorism laws such as COFEPOSA, MISA, TADA, and now POTA? Are they put on the statue-books only to be used to browbeat and terrorise dissidents? The British bequeathed us some marvelous, tough laws. For one thing, when a crime was committed in a village, and there was sufficient evidence that the entire village (or hamlet) participated, in some degree or the other, they simply punished the entire community by fining them heavily and confiscating properties. Free India disclaims such laws, saying that they are too barbaric. Well, how are they different from the system of imposing sanctions - diplomatic, economic, military, etc., on entire countries? Did not the Indian Union take the lead, even initiate the campaign against South Africa during the Apartheid Dispensation? Did not the Indian Union impose a blockade on Portuguese India? Another admirable British legislation is the Assize Laws: A district that has lapsed into near anarchy is handed over to the military and the paramilitaries, and the meting out of summary, immediate justice then brought back the people from barbarism. But what is needed now, more than communal sanctions and assizes, is a body similar to the Military Police be established over the civil police. In the Bombay Pogroms of 1992-93, the city police actively participated, even initiated the crimes. Then, when the Judicial Inquiry began, they stonewalled it by claiming lost files and evidence and missing and untraceable accused. One such 'missing and untraceable accused' in those Pogroms has now made it to the hallowed seat of the Parliament's Speaker, with the active aid and assistance of the 'clean' Congress Party of Mrs. Sonia Maino-Gandhi. The principle must be applied, that when the police have a person or evidence in their custody, if the person or evidence goes missing, then it must be presumed that the police murdered the person and the dissappearance of evidence must be presumed to be incontrovertible evidence that the police personnel themselves are the perpetrators of the crimes which these evidences evidenced, and treated accordingly. Tough, but it will put the fear of God into these uniformed criminals. There is no other way.

To address the Jhajjar murders: Arrest all the police and civic personnel present at the incident under the anti-terrorist acts, as also the temple, VHP and Shiv Sena personnel, etc. Fine all the 'upper caste' inhabitants of the entire region ruinously, confiscate and demolish the temple and the homes of the main and also of the socially prominient perpetrators, seize their offspring and put them into orphanages, etc. Has either the provincial or federal government got the guts?

The Joke Called Indian 'History'
Indians came into contact with the European people after the European merchants started coming to India in the sixteenth century. The interaction between them continued to grow in later years. The Portuguese were the first to come to India. Subsequently, the English and the French also settled in India. The growing contact with the Europeans deeply affected the Indian people. Values such as rationalism, individualism, humanism embedded in European society during the Renaissance period began to take root in India as well. It resulted in the spread of modern ideas in India. This year, we are going to study the history of modern India. To understand it properly, it is ncessary to study the conditions which gave rise to the modern age in Europe.

Beginnings Of A Change In Medieval Europe
Till the fifteenth century, European society was strongly under the influence of feudal lords and the clergy, while the monarchies were comparatively weak. Common people suffered under the dual burden of feudalism and the Church. The medieval social order had started cracking in the fourteenth century. Thinkers like Roger Bacon and Thomas Aquinas severely attacked the traditional way of thinking and impressed upon the people the importance of a rational approach. They taught the people to look at the world with open eyes and to believe only what was acceptable to reason.

Nature Of The Renaissance
The Renaissance that set in Europe during the fifteenth century was an intellectual revolution. This period witnessed the revival of the study of ancient literature written in Greek and Latin. The invention of the printing press provided a great impetus to the spread of learning, which inspired the intellectual revolution in Europe. A rational and critical approach to life, realization of the importance of the material world, capacity to appreciate beauty in its various forms and other such ideas characteristic of the ancient classics, took root in Europe once again. Man became the centre of all thought. This new trend affected various fields of human activity such as literature, painting, sculpture, sciences, etc. Instead of narrating the stories of divine beings, artists began depicting human emotions, beauties of Nature and human beings in various forms. Breating the barriers of traditional though, scientists like Copernicus and Galileo conducted research on independent lines and advanced new theories in science which boldly challenged the prevalent ones. They struck at the very roots of the age-old beliefs which were based on tradition. The new independent way of thinking influenced the religious field also and gave rise to the religious reform movement.

The Reformation
The Christian Church had a tremendous hold on medieval European society. Bible, the holy book of the Christians was in Latin, which the common people did not understand. Naturally, they could not read the holy book themselves. The clergy took advantage of their ignorance and gave undue importance to rituals. The Church was rife with corruption. The movement which took place in Europe against such evils in the institution of Church is called the 'Reformation'.

Thinkers like Wyclif, Erasmus, and Calvin raised their voice against the evil tendencies prevalent in the Church. To enable the common people to read the Bible on their own, it was translated into the regional languages. Martin Luther, a German monk, issued pamphlets severely condemning the corrupt practices rampant in the Church. He exhorted the people not to follow the preachings of the clergy blindly, but to read the Bible in order to understand the basic religious tenets. He openly challenged the absolute authority of the Pope, who was the head of the Church. Thus he inspired the religious reform movement in Europe. Since Martin Luther 'protested' against the corrupt religious practices, his followers came to be called the 'Protestants'. The religious reform movement led to the lowering of the Pope's prestige in the Christian world. Some European rulers, who disliked the Pope's domination, denounced his authority and started acting independently. The English King Henry VIII was one of them.

The Renaissance and Reformation laid the foundation of modern ideas in Europe.

Rise Of Nation-States
During the sixteenth century, political power of feudal lords declined in Europe and that of the kings increased. This century also witnessed the rise of a feeling of unity among people, who had lived together for years in a particular region, and who were tied by common bonds of race, language, historic traditions and who shared common political and economic interests. People, inspired with such a sense of national unity, extended support to their kings. The king thus became a symbol of national unity. Gradually, all power came to be concentrated in his hands, and he became powerful. All these factors led to the rise of nation-states in Europe. England, France, Spain and some other countries emerged as nation-states during this period. Rise of nation-states is a characteristic feature of the modern age.

Trade Of Europe With Asia
Towards the end of the medieval period, important changes took place in the economic field as well. Arab merchants used to bring commodities like spices, precious stones, fine cotton and silk cloth, sugar, etc. from Asian countries to Europe for sale. These commodities were unloaded in the Italian cities like Genoa, Venice and Milan. From there, European merchants carried these commodities to different markets all over Europe, where they were in great demand. At the end of the fifteenth century, European sailors discovered new sea-routes from Europe to Asia. They also discovered new lands unknown to the Europeans till then. Consequently, European trade expanded and with it, profits earned by European merchants also increased to a great extent.

Commercial Rivalry
When the new lands were discovered, Portuguese and Spanish merchants rushed there for trade and made enormous profits. England, France and Holland followed suit in the sixteenth century. They developed their naval power and encouraged their sailors to undertake sea-voyages for trading in the newly discovered lands. This naturally led to commercial rivalry among the European nations.

Rise Of Mercantilism
Europe's overseas trade increased by leaps and bounds in the seventeenth century. Resourceful merchants, adventurous sailors and ambitious kings supporting them were the main pillars of the growing European trade. Trade and commerce became an important part of Europe's economy. To provide incentives for promoting trade became the main policy of the rulers. For the prosperity of their country, they considered it essential to outmatch their commercial rivals. To attain this objective, they granted concessions in custom duties to their merchants. This economic policy is known as mercantilism.

With the growth of trade, enormous amounts of money accumulated in the hands of European merchants. They utilized this money to increase the production of goods. They supplied money and raw materials to artisans for increasing their output. Money thus invested in the process of production with a view to gaining larger profits is called 'capital'.

Establishment Of Trading Companies
Although European merchants obtained enormous profits out of overseas trade, it involved innumerable difficulties and risks also. To solve this problem, some merchants started undertaking a few mercantile activities collectively such as placing orders for goods with artisans, collecting goods from them and keeping those safely stored; while some others started pooling their capital and performing all trading activities collectively. Such practices soon culminated in the formation of trading companies. The English East India Company, which started trading in India in the early seventeenth century, was such a company established by a few London merchants. Shortly thereafter, similar companies came into existence in other European countries like Holland and France.

Effects Of The Growth Of Trade In Europe
The growth of trade in Europe introduced remarkable changes in the economic, social and political life of Europe. Trade and industry came to occupy an important place in European economy. Barter system, prevalent in medieval Europe gave way to the use of coins of precious metals like gold and silver as medium of exchange. Cities like London, Antwerp, Dieppe, Bristol became new trading centres. The number of banks extending credit for trade increased significantly. More and more capital came to be invested in trade and commerce. The number of industries connected with trade such as shipbuilding developed rapidly. With the expansion of trade and industry, European nations acquired enormous profits and consequently became wealthy and prosperous.

Development of trade and related occupations gave rise to a new class of people such as bankers, brokers, shopkeepers, clerks, accountants etc. carrying out different commercial activities. This came to be called the middle class. Not bound by traditional ideas, this class was eager to learn new things and to undertake new activities. The middle class, therefore, readily assimilated modern values like rationalism, freedom of thought, individualism, experimentalism etc. The middle class thus became the backbone of modern social order.

Political life in Europe was also affected by the growth of trade. For their own benefit, the merchants supported their kings, while the rulers, realizing that the prosperity of their country depended chiefly on the merchant class, extended them full support. The mercantile community, therefore, came to occupy a prestigious position in the country.

Establishment Of Colonies
The Europeans established their colonies first in the continents of America, where they acquired rich territories. Spain set up her colonies chiefly in South and Central America. England established colonies along the coastline of the Atlantic Ocean in North America. The Dutch secured control of Indonesia in South-east Asia. In India, the Portuguese were the first to establish their colony. They were followed by the English, the Dutch and the French. Later, Europeans set up colonies in Africa and Australia as well. European settlers carried their culture and values with them to the new lands. As a result, people living in different parts of the world came into contact with modern European culture and civilization.

Rise Of Colonialism
The goods which were in demand in European markets were purchased by European merchants at the lowest possible prices in the colonies. On the other hand, they sold their goods in the colonies at a high price, thereby earning enormous profits. To earn more and more profit from colonial trade, they imposed various restrictions on their colonies. It resulted in economic exploitation of the colonies. In course of time, they suppressed the original inhabitants and became rulers of the colonies. This policy towards the colonies is called colonialism. Rise of colonialism was thus a direct result of the growth of trade of European countries.

Chapter IV: Establishment And Expansion Of The British Power In India
At the beginning of the sixteenth century the Portuguese had established themselves firmly on the West Coast of India. The Dutch, the English and the French merchants followed in the seventeenth century. At that time, the Mughals were very powerful in India. Hence, initially, the European merchants concentrated on trade.

Initial Activities Of The European Traders
Initially, the European merchants carried out their trade by peaceful means meekly seeking permits from the Mughal Emperor. The Portuguese, the Dutch, the English and the French trading companies, had, for convenience of trade, established trading depots or factories at different places in India. The Portuguese had their factories at Goa, Diu and Daman; the Dutch at Surat, Khambat, Patna and Machilipatnam; the Englsh had their factories at places like Chennai (Madras), Surat, Hugli, Patna, Kolkata (Calcutta), Mumbai while the French had established factories at Mahe, Karaikal, Puduchcheri (Pondicherry) and Chandranagar. With the death of Aurangzeb started the decline of the Mughal Empire. The Mughal Governors began to administer their provinces as indepenendent rulers. The political scene was filled with instability and chaos. This situation was fuly exploited by the European merchants.

The Anglo-French Rivalry
By the end of the seventeenth century, the English had eliminated their Portuguese and Dutch rivals from the commercial field; but the rivalry between the English and the French for monopoly of trade in India had assumed serious proportions. Chennai on the East Coast of India was the chief trading centre of the English, while Puduchcheri, which is close to it, was that of the French. These territories were under the suzerainty of the Nawab of Carnatic. Around the middle of the eighteenth century, open conflict flared up among the native rulers who aspired to be the Nawab. The French and the English saw this as a golden opportunity to enter the Carnatic politics. The Englsih and the French, each offered military support to rival claimants. This situation directly led to three wars between the English and the French during the period from 1744 to 1763. They are known as the Carnatic Wars. In the third battle, the French suffered a defeat. As the French were routed in this power struggle, the English did not have any European rival left in India.

Chapter XVIII:

India Attains Freedom

Mountbatten Plan
Lord Louis Mountbatten arrived in India in March 1947. He held discussions with all eminent Indian political leaders. Thereafter he drafted a plan for the creation of two independent States of Bharat and Pakistan by partitioning India.

The possibility of partition of the motherland was naturally intolerable to Indians. Unity of India had been the very basis of Congress ideology. The League however was determined to have Pakistan. For the attainment of its objective, the League indulged in indiscriminate violence throughout the country. The Congress ultimately came to the sad conclusion that there was no alternative to partition, if India was to be free. With extreme reluctance, the Congress gave its consent to the plan of partition.

End Of The French And Portuguese Powers In India

Even after India became independent, some parts of the country remained in French and Portuguese hands. Chandranagar, Puduchcheri, Karaikal, Mahe, Yanam were under French control, while Goa, Diu, Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli were with the Portuguese. Indian inhabitants of these regions were eager to be citizens of India. Indian Government demanded the transfer of these territories to Indian hands, since those were integral parts of the country.

In 1949, the French transferred Chandranagar to India in view of the result of the plebiscite taken therein. Thereafter the other Indian territories in their possession were also handed over to India by the French.

The Goa Liberation Movement
Portugal, unlike France, declined to give back the Indian territories under its control. Indians had to struggle hard for the acquisition of those territories. The first person to strive for the political awakening of people in Goa was Dr. T.B. Kunha. Through his writings, he strongly criticized the exploitative nature of Portuguese rule. With his initiative, the Goa Congress Committee was formed with a view to organizing the Goanese people to fight against the Portuguese. In 1946, Dr. Rammanohar Lohia organized a Satyagraha movement for the liberation of Goa. At about the same time, the Azad Gomantak Dal was formed to liberate the Portuguese colonies at Dadra and Nagar Haveli in Gujarat. Young members of this Dal made an armed attack on the Dadra and Nagar Haveli region and freed it from the clutches of the Portuguese power. Vishwanath Lavande, Nanasaheb Kajarekar and Sudhir Phadke were among those who took part in this attack.

From 1954, the Goa liberation movement gathered momentum. A committee for the liberation of Goa was establishd. It sent a number of batches of satyagrahis to Goa. Well-known personalities like Senapati Bapat, Mahadevshastri Joshi and his wife Sudhatai, Sudhir Phadke, Nanasaheb Gore participated in the movement. A leading figure in the Goa Liberation Movement was Mohan Ranade. The Portuguese inflicted indescribable atrocities on the satyagrahis. It infuriated Indian public opinion and the struggle was further intensified.

During this period, the Indian Government was conducting negotiations with Portugal. But it proved of no avail. At last, in December 1961, Indian troops marched in Goa. Within a few days, the Portuguese Army surrendered. Goa was liberated. Imperialism was totally uprooted from the Indian soil.

Bombay Goans: Exercising Old Ghosts
Portugal came to the East to outflank the Muslims and to project further the Crusades-inspired Reconquests. However, soon after Portugal had come out East and had seized its beach-heads, the Dutch began their protestantism-inspired war against Spain in order to gain independence and to attack the Christian religion. Unfortunately for Portugal, at this time, it's own dynasty had died out and they had been reduced to adopting the Spanish king as their king. Therefore, the Portuguese too suffered from the depradations of the Calvinist Dutch.

The Portuguese lost very many of their territories to the Dutch and to others who had been instigated and aided by the Dutch. It was with great difficulty that they held on to Goa.

In order to distinguish themselves from the Spaniards, the Portuguese seceded from the Spanish Crown and elected their own king. This sparked off a long and bloody war between the Spanish and the Portuguese. And in order to secure themselves from the Dutch and the Spanish, the Portuguese treated with and allied with the English protestants for mutual security.

Having warded off the threats to the remnants of their empire, Portugal settled down comfortably and went to sleep on top of us, the Goans and others whom they ruled. Portugal gathered us with matronly concern under its ample skirts and sat down upon us. Portugal gathered us into its embrace to prevent us from flying the nest, ostensibly from a genuine concern for us. Thus it stultified and retarded our social and cultural development and evolution into self-governing states and peoples in reasonable time.

More than anything else, it is this that is ultimately responsible for the predicament that we presently find ourselves in. The Indian Union would have scarcely had the gumption to invade and occupy us if we had been an independent or even a fully autonomous state.

At the same time, as the Portuguese comfortably slumbered on, sitting on their laurels, the English raced ahead and seized the bulk of the Indian Sub-Continent. And this maltreatment and negligence at the hands of the heavy-handed Portuguese alienated the naturally-restive Goans, who were forced to look to the English and their empire for employment, etc. The Napoleonic Wars gave the English the perfect opportunity to meddle in Goan affairs and to begin the process of subverting Goans, their faith and their culture. They also co-opted Goans into the machinery of ruling their empire, by giving them crumbs off their tables and co-opting the Goans to be their subalterns.

Goans already served in Mahratta and other Indian armies, and were recruited by the English. Goans formed an important element of the machinery of British East Africa. The Church too had to face a piquant situation. During the heydays of the Portuguese empire and expansionism, the Church had made agreements with the Portuguese by which they were granted the privileges of maintaining the Church in the East Indies, at their costs.

However, when the English came to predominate the Sub-Continent, and in their protestant zeal to harm Christianity, began to commit mischief, the Church was forced to disregard these agreements, which Portugal had failed to uphold by failing to maintain its political predominance in the East Indies, and to appoint bishops and missionaries directly, in order to protect the flock from the heretics.

Now, since the Church did not have state-support of the Protestant English, it was forced to make some compromises which mainly consisted in not denouncing and in avoiding rubbing the English the wrong way or taking cognisance of its various wrongdoings. At the same time, this also bred an undercurrent of resentment against the English, and which blinded the Goans to the dangers of cooperating with the Indians in their drive for independence.

Many in the laity, who looked to the Church for guidance, saw this spirit of political submission and mistook it for the correct attitude and adopted it.

Moreover, because they were not taught otherwise, and could not be taught otherwise with the English watching, they were taught by the English to think in line with what the English wanted them to think and to reason in the manner that the English wanted them to reason.

This Anglicanitis is demonstrated by the thoughtless mimicking of English habits, customs and even adoption of the English language to replace our native Konkani, and in general, contempt and derogation of all things native. The Goans settled down and employed familiarly by the English, and who were made part of the Imperial System of Governance by being co-opted as subalterns, came to despise all things Goan and Portuguese and to worship all things English.

They not only mimicked English custom, habits, dress, diet, etc., but they also began to follow English customs of giving personal names, in place of the Portuguese language Catholic saint's names that they customarily followed.

Names like Erhlich, Clifford, etc., that sound straight out of a Mills & Boon novel; high sounding English and German Lutheran and American names or even more horrifying, actual English and German surnames as first names! The natural development of this disease Anglicanitis was Indianitis — a sub-species. These emigres came to be hypnotized by anti-Christian ideologies prevalent in England and the Continent and as a result to be swept up in the mythology of Indian nationalism with which they came to enthusiastically and unthinkingly identify themselves. They fought shoulder to shoulder alongside the British Indians to gain independence for British India, and they continued that by fighting alongsides the same British Indians to occupy the EIP's outlying districts, Dadra & Nagar-Avelim, in 1954; Lambert and Telo Mascarenhas, etc.

Others of these lobotomized traitors played a significant part in the further crimes of 1961: Erhlich Pinto, who committed acts of terrorism in Goa against the Goan Radio Station, and Laura, etc.

Thus the tragedy that has overcome us.
Today, in fighting to end the Occupation, we need to consciously fight against these monsters Anglicanitis and Indianitis and to exorcise them.
This is not so difficult a task.

These diseases have no firm foundations - they have no solid ideological, intellectual roots. It is not intelligent men, original thinkers who allowed themselves to be overrun by these foolishnesses, but the unthinking ones, prone to intellectual laziness. And therefore, it is not difficult to uproot these disease parasites from Goan minds.

However, it is necessary to make a conscious effort at uprooting these parasites. Too many people are intellectually too lazy to think and to apply their minds, and today, because of this intellectual laziness, these parasites have come to dominate Goan minds, not only of expatriates in the Indian Union, but also of Goans in Goa. Therefore Goans must be forced, coerced challenged and stimulated into using their brains to think and to think out the deaths of these (non-creedal) heresies. That is the first step in our liberation.

Ambedkar on Manu & The Shudras
The reader is now aware that in the Scheme of Manu there were two principal social divisions: those outside the Chaturvarna and those inside the Chaturvarna. The reader also knows that the present day Untouchable are the counterpart of those outside the Chaturvarna and that those inside the Chaturvarna are contrasted with those outside.

They were a composite body made up of four different classes, the Brahmins, the Kshatriyas, the Vaishyas and the Shudras. The Hindu social system in not only a system in which the idea of classes is more dominant than the idea of community, but it is a system which is based on inequality between classes and therefore between individuals.

To put it concretely, the classes, i.e. the Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, Shudras and Antyajas (Untouchables) are not horizontal, all on the same level. They are vertical, i.e., one above the other.

No Hindu will controvert this statement. Every Indian knows it. If there is any person who would have any doubt about it he can only be a foreigner. But any doubt which a foreigner might have will be dissolved if he is referred to the Law of Manu who is the chief architect of Hindu society and whose law has formed the foundations on which it is built. Texts from the Manu-Smriti go to prove that Hindu society is based on the principle of inequality.

It might be argued that the inequality prescribed by Manu in his Smriti is after all of historical importance. It is past history and cannot be supposed to have any bearing on the present conduct of the Hindu. Nothing can be greater error than this. Manu is not a matter of the past. It is even more than a past of the present. It is a "living past" and therefore as really present as any present can be.

That the inequality laid down by Manu was the law of the land under the pre-British days may not be known to many foreigners. Only a few instances will show that such was the case.

Under the rule of the Marathas and the Peshwas the Untouchables were not allowed within the gates of Poona city, the capital of the Peshwas, between 3 p.m. and 9 a.m. because, before nine and after three, their bodies cast too long a shadow; and whenever their shadow fell upon a Brahmin, it polluted him, so that he dare not taste food or water until he had bathed and washed the impurity away. So also no Untouchable was allowed to live in a walled town; cattle and dogs could freely enter but not the Untouchables.

Under the rule of the Marathas and Peshwas, the Untouchable might not spit on the ground lest a Hindu should be polluted by touching it with his foot, but had to hang an earthern pot round his neck to hold his spittle. He was made to drag a thorny branch of a tree with him to brush out his footsteps and when a Brahmin came by, had to lie at a distance on his face lest his shadow might fall on the Brahmin.

In Maharashtra, an Untouchable was required to wear a black thread either in his neck or on his wrist for the purpose of ready identification.

In Gujarat, the Untouchables were compelled to wear a horn as their distinguishing mark.
In the Punjab, a sweeper was required while walking through streets in towns to carry a broom in his hand or under his armpit as a mark of his being a scavenger. In (British) Bombay, the Untouchables were not permitted to wear clean or untorn clothes. In fact, the shopkeepers took the precaution to see that before cloth was sold to the Untouchable, it was torn and soiled.

In the Malabar, the Untouchables were not allowed to build houses above one story in height and not allowed to cremate their dead.

In the Malabar, the Untouchables were not permitted to carry umbrellas, to wear shoes or golden ornaments, to milk cows or even to use the ordinary language of the country. In South India, Untouchables were expressly forbidden to cover the upper part of their body above the waist and in the case of the women of the Untouchables, they were compelled to go with the upper part of their bodies quite bare.In the Bombay Presidency, so high a caste as that of the Sonars (Caste of Goldsmiths) were forbidden to wear their Dhoties with folds and prohibited to use the Namaskar as the word of salutation.

Under the Maratha rule any other than a Brahmin uttering a Veda Mantra was liable to have his tongue cut off and as a matter of fact the tongues of several Sonars were actually cut off by the order of the Peshwa for their daring to recite the Vedas contrary to law.
All over India, the Brahmin was exempt from capital punishment. He could not be hanged even if he committed murder.

Under the Peshwas, distinction was observed in the punishment of criminals according to caste. Hard labour and death were punishments mostly visited on the Untouchables.

Under the Peshwas, the Brahmin clerks had the privilege of their goods being exempted from certain duties and their imported corn being carried to them without any ferry charges; and Brahmin landlords had their lands assessed at distinctly lower rates than those levied from other classes.

In Bengal, the amount of rent for land varied with the caste of the occupant and if the tenant was an Untouchable, he had to pay the highest rent. These facts show that Manu, though born some time before B.C. or sometime after A.D., is not dead and while the Hindu Kings reigned, justice between Hindu and Hindu, touchable and untouchable was rendered according to the Law of Manu and that law was avowedly based on inequality.

This is the Dharma laid down by Manu. It is called Manava Dharma, i.e., Dharma which by its inherent goodness can be applied to all men in all times and in all places. Whether the fact is that it has not had any force outside India is a blessing or a curse, It is important to note that this Manava Dharma is based upon the theory that the Brahman is to have all the privileges and the Shudra is not to even have the rights of a human being, that the Brahman is to be above everybody in all things merely be reason of his 'high' birth and the Shudra is to be below everybody and is to have none of the things no matter how great may be his worth.

Peep Into The Future

This piece (Dr. Paranjpe's) was written against the "Non-Brahmin" Parties which were then in power in the Bombay and Madras Presidencies and in the Central Provinces. These parties were founded with the express object of not allowing a single community to have a monopoly in State Service. The Brahmins have a more or less complete monopoly in the State services in all the provinces in India and in all departments of State. The Non-Brahmin Parties had therefore laid down the principle, known as the principle of communal ratio, that given minimum qualifications, candidates belonging to non-Brahmin communities should be given preference over Brahmin candidates when making appointments in the public services. There was nothing wrong in this principle. It was undoubtedly wrong that the administration of the country should be in the hands of a single community however clever such a community might be.

The Non-Brahmin Parties held the view that the principle that "Good Government is better than efficient Government" was not a principle to be confined only to the composition of the Legislature and the Executive, but that it must also be made applicable to the field of administration. It was through administration that the State came directly in contact with the masses. No administration could do any good unless it was sympathetic. No administration could be sympathetic if it was manned by the Brahmins alone. How can the Brahmin, who holds himself superior to the masses, despises the rest as low castes and Shudras, is opposed to their aspiration, is instinctively led to be partial to his community and being uninterested in the masses is open to corruption, be a good administrator? He is as much an alien to the Indian masses as any foreigner can be.

As against this the Brahmins have been taking their stand on efficiency pure & simple. They know that this is they only card that they can play successfully by reason of their advanced position in education. But they forget that if efficiency is the only criterion then in all probability, there would be little chance for them to monopolise State service in the way and to the extent they have done. For if eficiency was made the only criterion there would be nothing wrong in employing Englishmen, Frenchmen, Germans and Turks instead of the Brahmins of India. Be that as it may, the Non-Brahmin Parties refused to make a fetish of efficiency and insisted that there must be introduced the principle of communal ratio in the public services in order to introduce into the administration an admixture of all castes and creeds and thereby make it a good administration.

In carrying out this principle, the non-Brahmin Parties in their eagerness to cleanse the administration of Brahminism while they were in power, did often forget the principle that in redressing the balance between the Brahmins and the non-Brahmins in the public services they were limited by the rule of minimum efficiency. But that does not mean that the principle they adopted for their guidance was not commendable in the interests of the masses.

This policy, no doubt, set the teeth of many Brahmins on edge. They were vehement in their anger. This piece by Dr. Paranjpe is the finest satire on the policy of the Non-Brahmin Parties. It caricatures the principle of the Non-Brahmin Parties in a manner which is inimitable and at the time when it came out, The Non-Brahmin Parties were not doing anything new. They were merely turning the Manu-Smriti upside down. It was turning the tables. It was putting the Brahmin in the position in which Manu had placed the Shudra. Did not Manu give privileges to the ABrahmin merely because he was a Brahmin? Did not Manu deny any right to the Shudra even though he deserved it? Can there be much complaint if now the Shudra is given some privileges because he is a Shudra?

It may sound absurd but the rule is not without precedent and that precedent is the Manu-Smriti itself. And who can throw stones at the Non-Brahmin Parties? The Brahmins may if they are without sin. But can the authors and worshippers, upholders of the Manu-Smriti claim that they are without sin? Dr. Paranjpe's piece is the finest condemnation of the iniquity that underlies this Manava Dharma. It shows as nothing else does what a Brahmin feels when he is placed in the position of a Shudra.

Inequality is not confined to Hindus. It prevailed elsewhere also and was responsible for dividing society into higher and lower, free and servile classes.

Indias Experiments in Hypocrisy
During British India's movement for Independence, Mahatma Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, the great Sophaster, assured the National Conference Party, formerly the Muslim Conference, founded and led by Sheikh Abdullah, that 'the Kingdom of Jammu & Kashmir is a nation, and we will respect its rights,' or words to those effects. Yet, the same Mr. Gandhi stated that the people of Portuguese India do not have the right to remain separate, and that Portuguese India must and will be absorbed without the right of self-determination. This is the utterest hypocrisy.

And as Guru, so Chela: Gandhi's favourite disciple, Jawaharlal Nehru had this to say of Goa, given at Bombay on June 4, 1956: "…if and when the Portuguese go and the people of Goa deliberately wish to retain their separate identity, I am not going to bring them by force or compulsion or coercion into the Indian Union."

"I merely say that my national interest involves the removal of the Portuguese from Goa, not coercion being used in bringing about the union with India…that is a matter ultimately for the people of Goa to decide."

"I want to make it perfectly clear that I have no desire to coerce Goa to join India against the wishes of the people of Goa… but the point is that we feel that Goa's individuality should remain and that whenever the times comes for any changes, internal or others, it will be for the people of Goa acting freely to decide upon them."

Quite overflowing with Charity and Brotherly love, is'nt he? And this is just two years after his puppet-terrorists had seized and annexed de facto to the Indian Union, the two enclaves of Dadra and of Nagar-Avelim, without even bothering to conduct even a staged plebiscite. Greasy, meally-mouthed hypocrite, or what?

Is Goa Indian ?
Portuguese India or Goa came into existence in 1510, when the Portuguese, at the request of the Goans and of the Vijayanagar Empire, liberated it from the Brahmin Sultan of Bijapur.

The Indian Union or Bharat, is a country invented by the English who conquered and fused a great many states and nations into the British India Empire. Later, this Empire was partitioned twice on religious bases: in 1937 , to separate the Budhist dominated Ceylon and Burma (Myanmar), with the consent of the Indian National Congress, and again in 1947, to separate the Muslim dominated Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Today, what was British India is the following sovereign states: Bharat, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Burma (Myanmar), Sri Lanka (Ceylon), Maldives. Not to mention Malaysia and Singapore which were separated a long time ago.

However, on the other hand, there is another anthropological reality - East India or the East Indies. This is a much larger sweep of territory, including the Sunda Archipelago, the Phillipines, the Indo-Chinese Peninsula (which houses the modern states of Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and Burma), and goes on the western side, beyond Pakistan into Western or Iranian Baluchistan and into Cis-Montane Afghanistan.

This East Indies is divided into two halves — called Hither India and Further India. The latter is the part dominated by the former British India Empire, while the former is the Eastern half.

In August 1947, the British East India Empire was divided into two new states — Bharat and Pakistan. With that British India came to an end - ceased to be.

From commencement, Bharat has strenuously protested, in the face of doubts by the Pakistanis, Lankans, Nepalese, Burmese, etc., that it did NOT wish to reverse the partitions of 1937 & 1947, and that it recognized the territorial boundaries of these states, and did not covet a single square inch of their territories. Yet on the other hand, Bharat has insistently claimed the right to absorb the enclaves of French and Portuguese India embeded within its territories.

Bharat demanded that France and Portugal negotiate with it the transfer of these territories to it. In the face of popular agitations, France acceded and conducted a plebiscite, in which the people of the French Enclaves — Chandernagore, Yanam, Pondichery, Karaikal & Mahe de Labourdonnais voted to be integrated into Bharat.

Accordingly, France negotiated a treaty and transfered these territories to Bharat. Portugal, however, refused to even consider any negotiations.

Bharat attempted to stir up public agitations in the Portugese India but failed to gain public support.

In 1954, Bharati irredentists, organized a movement, ostensibly a pacific one, but reinforced with armed troops of irredentists and regular soldiers and invaded Portuguese India by surprise.

As a result, the enclaves of Dadra & Nagar-Avelim were lost to the terrorists sponsored by Bharat.

But in other parts, notably the isolated enclave of Terecol, the terrorists were ruthlessly put down and the enclave reunited with Goa. The Portuguese also began to build up forces to protect Goa. However, soon after, the Portuguese were forced to relocate most troops to Portuguese Africa, to put down the Communist rebellions there.

Both before the 1954 invasion and after, Bharat officially promised that Goa's fate would be decided by the citizens of Goa.

However, when in 1954, Bharat invaded and occupied two Goan enclaves, it annexed them without any plebiscite, merely as a result of a conquest by force of arms!

This is duplicity. This is hypocrisy.

But more was to come.

Since Goa was not a territory alientated from Bharat, which did NOT exist at the time of its foundation, and since Bharat had already assured those states that had more recently been alienated from it that it had no designs on them, Bharat therefore had NO rights or moral basis to levy any claims upon Goa and its citizens. And therefore, Bharat had no business interfering in the internal affairs of Goa and to dictate whether the Portuguese should remain or not. Only the Goans could have the right to decide that.

When the government of Bharat however, saw that the Goans did not support its program of mischief and robbery, and that the criminal acts of 1954 could not be repeated, it took a new tack.

It enforced a blockade upon Free Goa, in an attempt to starve and terrorize its citizens to fall in with its program.

From 1954 to 1961, when Bharat invaded and occupied Free Goa, this blockade was in effect. During this blockade, the terrorists inflicted a great deal of suffering upon the Goan people. Goans seeking to travel across the frontiers were humiliated and dehumanized.

None of this, however, broke the spirit of the Free Goans and Bharat could not make any headway.

Therefore, becoming desperate in the face of its humiliating failure despite all means adopted, Bharat decided to invade and occupy Free Goa by force of arms. This was accomplished in December 1961, when some 50,000 Bharat Army supported by another 25,000 invaded and overwhelmed the poorly armed and lightly manned Free Goan armed forces comprising of some 5,000 Goan and Portuguese troops and policemen! !)

What bravery and courage was displayed by the Bharatis in taking on such a mighty opponent!

But what is important is that following the invasion, Bharat announced that Goa had become a part of it by might of arm, thus throwing into the dustbin its pious promises that the citizens of Goa alone would decide the fate of Goa!

Bharat amended its constitution by the 12th Constitution Amendment Act to claim that Goa had, as a result of its criminal invasion and occupation, become an integral part of Bharat!

There was NOT ANY KIND OF POPULAR VOTE, REFERUNDUM OR PLEBISCITE by which the Goans decided that they wanted to be integrated into Bharat! Subsequently, in 1974, when the Portuguese Communist terrorists and bandits overthrew the Portuguese government, they signed a "treaty" with Bharat wherein they recognized that Goa was integrated into Bharat from the day of its occupation!

This "treaty" is illegal and without any value. That is because Goa was and is not Portugal's to bargain over without the express and stated consent of the Goan people, in accordance with all norms of international laws.

Goa is NOT Portugal's chattel, and Goans are not Portuguese slaves that Portugal, granted the dubious point that the Communist terrorists, pirates, hijackers and bandits ARE the legal Portuguese government since 1974, so that Portugal can gift or cede Goa and Goans without any legal reference to the wishes of the Goans!

Therefore, this "treaty" is nothing but a fraud and a mockery of all norms of law and decency and an attempt by Bharat and its allies in the Portuguese underworld, the Portuguese Communist terrorists, ship pirates, hijackers and bandits, to add insult to the injury of the Goan people suffered at the hands of terrorist Bharat!

India's Anthem
Since some years a malicious email has been circulated by the agents provocateur of Hindu fascism which basely attacks the official state anthem of the Indian Union as being in praise, not of God or the motherland, but king George V of Hanover, his wife and his mother.

Not only has a deliberate campaign of disinformation has been lauched by these criminals and traitors, but they even go so far as to shamelessly libel and slander some of the greatest leaders of the Indian independence movement, people such as Ravindranath Thakur, Motilal Nehru-Kaul and his son, Jawaharlal Nehru-Kaul, who, unlike the leaders of Hindu fascism, collaborators and quislings such as Savarkar or the present Indian prime minister, Atal Behari Bajpai, etc., actively resisted and fought the English imperialists and made great sacrifices for the freedom of India from England.

The 'National' Anthem of the Indian Union was composed by the Nobel laureate Ravindranath Thakur (Rabindranath Tagore in his native Bengali), a Deist, and as a Deistic hymn, and goes:

Jana gana mana adhinayaka, jaya he Bharata bhagya vidhata Punjab Sindhu Gujarata Maratha Dravida Utkala Vanga Vindhya Himachala Yamuna Ganga Ujwala Jaladhi taranga Tava shubha name jage Tava shubha ashish maage Gaye tava jaya-gatha. Jana gana mangala dayaka jaya he Bharata bhagya vidhata Jaya he, jaya he, jaya he, Jaya jaya jaya, jaya he!

The Roman Transliteration is not phonetic. The English Translation is as follows:

Thou art the rulers of the minds of all people Thou Dispenser of India's destiny. Thy name rouses the hearts of the Punjab, Sind, Gujarat and the Maratha, Of the Dravid, Orissa and Bengal; It echoes in the hills of the Vindhyas and Himalayas, Mingles in the music of the Yamuna and Ganga And is chanted by the waves of the sea. They pray for thy blessings and sing thy praise. The saving of all people waits in thy hand, Thou Dispenser of India's destiny, Victory, victory, victory to thee.

Before this song was written, another song had been composed, the Vande Mataram, or "Salutations to the Goddess Mother India," an actively idolatrous hymn that found no favour with the Muslim or Christian Indians. It is because of its failure to appeal to all Indians, while Thakur's did, that caused the selection of the latter song as the official state anthem of the Indian Union following Independence. However, the Hindu fascists have never given up hope of foisting their idolatrous song on India as its official anthem supplanting Thakur's composition, and they are willing to stoop to base falsehoods and the most utterly stupid lies in order to wean away the Indian people.

Nor is this campaign of lies and misinformation something new: it has gone on continuously since Independence and the adoption of Thakur's anthem. The Hindu fascists allege that:

"India's national anthem was written by Rabindranath Tagore in honour of George V and his wife when they visited India in 1919. To honor their visit Motilal Nehru had five stanzas included, which are in praise of the King and Queen. In the original Bengali verses only those provinces that were under British rule, i.e. Punjab, Sindh, Gujarat, etc. were mentioned. None of the princely states are mentioned, which are integral parts of India now - Kashmir, Rajasthan, Andhra, Mysore or Kerala. Neither the Indian ocean nor the Arabian Sea were included, since they were directly under Portuguese rule at that time. The song implies that George V is the lord of the masses, the "Dispenser of India's destiny" and "the bestower of good fortune". Nehru chose the present anthem as opposed to Vande Mataram because he thought that it would be easier for the band to play. It was an absurd reason but today, for that matter, bands have advanced and they can very well play any music. So they can as well play Vande Mataram, which is a far better composition in praise of our dear Motherland - India."

Lies, Stupid Lies!

The level of ignorance in India, even among the 'educated' is phenomenal, which is why this campaign of lies has won many to the traitors' cause. For one thing, the anthem was not, in fact, written in honour of George V. It was merely recited in an audience with him, as he presided as the guest of honour. The song is not addressed to him, and to allege or believe this is to do a great dishonour to the memory of Ravindranath Thakur. Secondly, the song does not set out to catalog the provinces of 'British India' as it was in 1919; it is malicious and self-cultivated ignorance on the part of the allegants to allege this. The 1919 provinces of 'British India' did not include Sindh, Gujarat or Orissa. At that time, the first two were part of the province called the Bombay Presidency, and Orissa of the Bengal Presidency. Sindh and Orissa were created as provinces only in 1937, and Gujarat and Maharashtra - the province of the Mahrattas - were created only in 1961 - after Independence! The vast majority of the provinces of 'British India' are not recorded by the anthem: Baluchistan, The North-West Frontier Province, The United Provinces of Agra & Oudh, the Province of Central India and Berar, the Bombay Presidency and the Madras Presidency, the provinces of Upper and Lower Burma, the province of Ceylon, etc.

As a matter of fact, Thakur's anthem mentions only two of the provinces that existed in 1919: Punjab, and the Bengal Presidency, which at the time included, besides the present West Bengal and East Bengal (Bangladesh), Bihar, Orissa (Utkal), Assam, and the hill districts of the Brahmaputra Basin - the present-day provinces of Arunachal, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Mizoram. Again, the Punjab of 1919 included the territory we today call 'Himachal' and which were separated only in 1961, while Thakur uses that name for the Himalaya mountains. 'British India' was certainly not confined to the banks and basins of the Ganga and the Yamuna, but also included territories watered by the Indus, the Hirawati (Irrawady), the Salween, the Narmada, Tapti, Krishna, Godavari, Kaveri, Brahmaputra, Mahanadi, etc., which were as important, if not more important than the Ganga-Yamuna system.

It requires insanity to believe the extraordinary fable that the Portuguese still controlled (in 1919!) the Indian Ocean or the Arabian Sea (or the Bay of Bengal, for that matter). The Portuguese had lost this maritime supremacy and monopoly centuries ago when they had been harried and defeated by the Dutch, and subsequently maritime monopoly had been seized by the English. The reason Nehru and the majority of the leaders of the Independence movement chose Thakur's anthem over the Vande Mataram was not the rather ingenious lie that they found the former easier for bands to play, but for the fundamental reasons that the latter was and is offensive and unacceptable to the non-Hindu peoples of India!

India's Terrorism Against Goa
The Portuguese enclaves are together called the State of (Portuguese) India. This political entity, a Portuguese dependency, was not fabricated yesterday, but has been in existence since 1510 - long before any other state in the East Indies used the name India in its official name. The British East Indian Empire, of which the Indian Union or Bharat is a successor state, was not born for another two hundred years after this.

"Goa" is a name that ignoramuses apply to a territory. It is actually merely the name of a city, now abandoned. The proper and legal name of the entire and integral territories is the State of Portuguese India or "O Estado da India Portuguesa."

There were many Indias: The Spanish East Indies, now the Philippines; the French East Indies; the Dutch East Indies; the Danish East Indies; etc.

Again, there is another India in the East Indies today, besides the Indian Union. That is Indonesia, a name which means "Indian Islands".

Ignorant philistine, this Jaipal, what?

There is no historical basis to the claim that the Portuguese took Goa as the result of a pirate action. On the contrary, they were requested by both the Goans and the Vijayanagar Empire to do so. This is historical fact, not fabrications like the ones that the Indian Union cooks up.

And the Portuguese did not hold Goa by force. The Goans were comfortable under the tolerant and friendly rule of the Portuguese and, excepting insignificant minorities of malcontents and social misfits, did not seek independence.

Hindu Hypocricy:
In a secular country like India, citizens holding a Christian revival meet is a violation of secularism. So says the VHP.

But, of course, there are certain other things that DO NOT constitute violation of Secularism: Conduct of Pujas, Havans, and the like, Satyanarayan Pooja, etc., on and in public places, buildings, facilities, in Railway Stations, Police Stations, Government owned Banks and businesses, government offices, etc., etc., and at public expense.

Similarly, the installation of Hindu idols and icons and the worship thereof, in public places, buildings, facilities, in Railway Stations, Police Stations, Government owned Banks and businesses, government offices, etc., etc., and at public expense.

Similarly, the imposition of Yoga, a Hindu religious system of exercise and meditation on school children at and in government aided schools or in government schools, etc., and at public expense.

Similarly, the imposition of Astrology or Jyotish Vigyan on the Universities of India by the NDA government through the Universities Grants Commission, etc., and at public expense.

Perish the thought. None of these is violative of secularism. That is because "Violation of Secularism" is something that only Christians and other non-Hindus are capable of, something that is inherent to them, something they just cannot avoid. But Hindus are physically incapable of violating Secularism.

All this Foolish Talk about Goan Independence.
Out there in cyberspace, there are still some odd voices making silly noises about Independence for Goa. What Nonsense!. Wake up fellas. Seriously wake up.

Independence from India will NOT happen for Goa. It is a non-starter. Let's not waste precious time on it. Goa is not East Timor, and Thank God for that. There is enough bloodshed and suffering in this world. Goa has its own share of woes. No need for any more.

Go high up in the mountains and bury this "independence" foolishness where no one will find it ever again.

However, from our vantage point, we might wish to look at the WHY of these noises. There is always something to learn from any episode of disgruntlement. Yugoslavia should have paid attention to it, the USSR should have paid attention to it, but they both did not. Look what happened when they used force under the guise of "national unity" to suppress popular expression.

India is a joint family. It needs to revisit the various bones of contention in the various parts of India. Every attempt must be made to understand these issues and resolve them in the best interest of the people.

What do you say about India the 'so called worlds largest democracy', when it denies the right to freedom to people she calls its own. All goa want is to be given the chance to express their feelings. Other parties in other conflict have accepted this. If Goa does decide to become independence let them do so. If they decide to stay with India, let that be, but that is hardly going to be so, as the whole issue is about HOW MUCH DESTRUCTION GOANS CAN TOLERATE. Can any one blame them after what India has and are doing there? Can India chains the human spirit. Can it delay events, sure but at a cost, DESTRUCTION OF GOA? Goans are peace loving people. Most of the world is now free except some pockets of slavery/occupation here and there. We appeal to all FREEDOM loving people of the world to HELP LIBERATE GOA.

People who stand up for human rights in India are being subjected to threats, harassment, false criminal cases and in some cases torture, ill-treatment, "disappearances" and even political killings, Amnesty International said today in a new report on human rights defenders (Persecuted for challenging injustice. Human rights defenders in India ).

The Indian authorities are failing to protect human rights defenders or prevent these human rights abuses. In some cases they are directly responsible for the abuses while in others state agencies, particularly police under political influence, connive or acquiesce in the attacks. "Human rights activists often pay a high price for their courage and commitment,"Amnesty International said. "The death of an activist in Gujarat six days ago after he was detained and reportedly beaten by police highlights the urgent need for the Indian authorities to protect human rights defenders".

Colonel Save, an activist with the Kinara Bachao Samiti [Save the Coast Committee], which has protested the construction of a port in the coastal zone of Gujarat, was arrested in his home in the early hours of 20 April 2000. He was taken to the local police station, where fellow detainees say he was hit repeatedly by police before being placed in a crowded cell, despite pleadings that he had a heart condition. Colonel Save subsequently suffered a brain haemorrhage and died in hospital in Bombay.

Excessive use of force by law enforcement agencies against peaceful protesters is just one concern highlighted by Amnesty International in its report. The report also documents the monitoring of their activities by the state, and restrictions on their freedom of opinion and expression. False criminal cases are frequently filed against individuals as a means of harassment by politicians, powerful landowners and businessmen, as well as the state. Although the rights of vulnerable groups including dalits, adivasis, and members of religious minorities are protected in law, attacks on activists defending the rights of these communities demonstrate their continuing vulnerability and the urgent need for the Indian government to take practical steps to protect their rights. Women who campaign for human rights in India also face discrimination from their own families, in the wider community, in the criminal justice system and from the authorities.

Human rights activists in areas of internal armed conflict are killed and "disappeared", often accused of belonging to the armed opposition. Those who have tried to address human rights abuses by either side of the conflict, including journalists, have themselves been targeted by both security forces and armed opposition groups. At a recent workshop held in New Delhi to discuss how to protect and support human rights defenders, a series of recommendations was endorsed to put to the government, to armed opposition groups and to economic actors, calling on them in the first instance to support and respect the role of human rights defenders.

On Wednesday the United Nations Commission on Human Rights in Geneva passed a resolution calling for a special representative to promote and protect human rights defenders.

We are aware that there was a long-running feud and sharp disagreement — for more than 250 years - between the Papacy and the Portuguese authorities, with the Portuguese clergy supporting, by and large, their government against the Papacy. This was the Padroado-Propaganda Conflict.

Text Books Of Hypocrisy
The Arabs dominated the Ocean militarily and its trade until Portugal displaced them. The Muslim dominance was finally broken by the defeat Portugal inflicted on the combined navies of Turkey, Muscat, Iran, etc., at the Battle of Dio. From that date, until the intrusion of the Dutch, the Ocean was a Portuguese monopoly.

The Goan Catholic retained much of his previous traditions and customs, but differed fundamentally from the Goan pagans in that they rejected categorically Hindu norms and principles, which rejection the Hindus themselves acknowledged and reacted with hostility to, considering that the converts had lost their caste status thereby; both in Goa and in British India, the converts were universally insulted with the spitting "chee chee" — a term that has gone down in the Oxford dictionary as a Hindu pejorative for Christians! Thus, the converts freely consumed cow's meat, which, above all, acted to sever ties between the Hindus and the Christians! So much for "retaining Hindu norms and principles"! Humbug!

One must note that the Edict of 1736 was designed to eradicate lingering superstitions among Christians in a land where non-Christians practically no longer existed. Goa regained a substantial non-Christian population only when it began to expand into the new territories - the Novas Conquistas. The first of these was not till 1763, when the Raja of Sonda, who had no heirs, ceded his territories to Goa, by Treaty with the specific conditions that the restrictions against Hindus should not apply in these territories. These new districts were: Ponda / Antrus, Sanguem & Quepem, and were the first new acquisitions since the acquisition of the Island of Goa, and of the districts of Bardes and Sashti, the core of Goa! All the districts of the Novas Conquistas were predominantly non-Christians, although their populations were lesser as they were primarily forestlands compared to the Velhas Conquistas which were predominantly agricultural lands. One must note that the Pastoral was a religious, not civil, order binding only on Goan Christians, and not on Hindus. It was not a civil law, enforced or enforceable by the civil authorities.

PPX makes no effort to show that these measures faced any opposition or reaction. There is an interesting directive issued by one of the Popes to the missionaries in Indo-China, wherein the Pope instructs them that they should not strive to uproot local traditions and customs, or strive to impose European traditions and customs, but that they should Christianise local customs, and eliminate all superstitions, which are, by their very nature, incompatible with Christianity, among the converts.

All those histories which taught us that the Portuguese established Goa in 1510, and that the British established British India only from 1757 onwards were all wrong. It seems that the British kindly and generously carried the Portuguese in, perhaps on palanquins, and gave them a little piece of their own conquests to inhabit, perhaps because they, the British, were enamoured with the Portuguese and could not live without their company in their neighbourhood!

And so India attempted to DRAGOON Goans into Indian citizenship, forcing it on the basis of domicile. And yet, the vast bulk of Goan expatriates in the Indian Union voluntarily continued to retain their Portuguese citizenship!

Some more pious humbug. Since Goa is not a natural part of the Indian Union as a political entity, India cannot have any claim upon it. Goans were not only free in the Portuguese Commonwealth, but they also possessed a superior lifestyle to that obtaining in the Indian Union.

It is pertinent to note Nehru's pious humbug in intruding into the internal affairs of the Goans and then gratuitously 'condescending' to give Goans the crumbs from their own table, which he is here proposing to steal from us, under the form of 'a special arrangement of a democratic nature to run the government of Goa' immediately after he has managed to perpetrate his banditry! All those 'pious' promises were blithely thrown into the dustbin once the banditry was accomplished! It is pertinent to note that those 'Christians' who were collaborators of the bandits, were in fact, apostates; people who had abandoned Christ. That is exactly why they were moved by venomous hatred and fulminated against the EIP Constitutional Order which followed the concept of the Kingdom of God: the Co-Ordination of State and Church!

Secularism is the rejection of the Rights of Christ for the Rights of Satan. Man's rights are safe only with and in subordination to that of Christ Jesus. Too many Goans today ignore this elementary aspect of the Rape of Goa - that its prime motivating cause was the malice of the pagans to which was joined the malice of apostates; and that the prime target was to destroy the Catholic State, the Catholic Ascendancy!

As a matter of fact, the movement of "Indian Nationalism" was fabricated in the British Empire as a Hindu Racist and Superioritarian reaction to conquest by the European, designed to vindicate Hindu Racism and Superioritarianism. Having achieved its ends there, under the auspices of Ghandy, it was prevented from a full and complete victory by the presence of the inoffensive in itself Catholic Goa as a zone not in its domain, and where Hindu Racism and Superioritarianism was not Triumphant. Thus Goa was an 'ugly pimple' on the face of Indian Paganism! This was the source of the pagans' rage and hatred against Goa.

Yes, but of course! The People of Goa were overjoyed to be raped, robbed and murdered, by these bandits who came to liberate them from their human dignity and of their rights as a human people to live in quietitude and to determine their destiny according to their own minds, and they came forward to welcome these bandits by volunteering to be raped, murdered and robbed! Hallelujah!

Apparently enough, more than merely 'economic development'. It now 'ended' the "offense of the Cross" and 'abrogated' the Rights of Christ, by the abolition of Catholic Goa, and the re-creation of pagan Goa, where the pagans, now emancipated could freely work to take revenge for the evangelisation of Goa! That was the stated progam of Bandodcar, the Occupation governor or 'chief minister' and his daughter, of the Hindu Bahujan Samaj or Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party.

Let us review US history in brief. The US was originally thirteen English colonies, some of them seized from the Dutch, Danes, Swedes, etc. However, by and large, the population was descended from English settlers. And the colonies were an extension of the English state.

In England, during this time, there was a religious crisis, with one time the Christians, and at other times the Protestants dominating. Eventually, the Prots came to dominate, and in order to obliterate the memory of Catholicism, they fabricated a new 'nation' of Great Britain by merging England and Scotland.

The American colonists began to see themselves as different and, though they had self-government, some of them wanted to be free nations. These were by and large Freemasons - Noahides, who followed the old policy of Break up and re-assemble in a new, anti-Christian form. England fought a long and expensive war against France and others and had to repay by raising taxes. And this war had also benefitted the colonies. But this was grasped as the pretext for a rebellion.

Another interesting aspect of the so-called American War of Independence is that it was not merely and straight-out a war between the mother country and the colonies, but it was also truly the colonies' first civil war, long before Lincoln's War. The rebels had to fight loyalists to gain the upper hand, and the loyalists too fought back bravely. It is an accident of history that the rebels won and not the loyalists. For their failure, the loyalists had to flee their homeland and resettle in the Caribbean and in Canada.

As the colonists fought England, its enemies, by and large the Catholic states of Europe, jumped into the fray and aided the rebels. That was natural, an application of the common error that 'My enemy's enemy is my friend.' It was because of this, principally, that the predominantly Prot rebels choose the newborn US to be broadly tolerant, rather than merely tolerant of the various and rival Prot factions, even if this broad tolerance was initially only nominal and did not actually cover Christians.

But Catholic societies had to pay a heavy price for this error of judgement. One side effect of the American War of Independence was that Continental Liberals got a chance to freely interact with American Freemasons, that those Catholics who fought on the US side against the English, came to be influenced and brought those insidious ideas back home, setting the stage for the French Revolution and other Masonic usurpations. It is a historical fact that the American War of Independence was the direct and immediate precursor of the French Revolution! And, as orthodox Catholics, we all agree that the latter was/is bad and evil!

The US as a nation is a budded-off branch of the English nation. And its prior history is that of the English nation, which is one of apostacy from Christianity. Certainly, the colonists' own immediate forefathers, one or two generations earlier had been Catholic and had fallen away. It mattered little that these then emigrated to the New World. That did not change their history. The Systemic Christophobia of the US was demonstrated by the Know-Nothing movement, and even more by the moves to take advantage of Spain in the time of its difficulties when it was invaded by Napoleon and lay prostrate; America and England joined hands to breakaway the Spanish dependencies of New Spain, New Granada and Peru, using their stooges Simon Bolivar, Joseph St. Martin, etc., to form Mexico and the many states of South America, then further divided and subdivided them to form more than forty new countries. The US by its mischief caused the dissolution of Mexico (former New Spain), with the provinces of Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, etc., being raised to new states and encroaching on the northern territories - Florida, Louisiana, North Mexico {which is now Texas, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, 'New Mexico', Oklahoma, and (North) California, (South, or Baja California remains Mexican)} besides the Oregon Territory.

We see the consequence of the evil separation of Church and State that is fundamental to Gringostan's constitution: the exclusion of Christian expression from public places, the complete license for all kinds of manmade religions, and even for the public cult of Satanism, the full and shameless license accorded to free sex and to pornophilia, the horrific Holocaust of more than fifty million nonnate (unborn) babies, etc., etc. And that it is this that is the prime boast of Americanist Triumphalism! Consider further: Britain worked hard and systematically to overthrow and degrade Catholic powers and to exalt itself and its impious replacement of them and their systems. And America, its daughter, has faithfully followed its tuition, taking up the White Man's Burden to Protestantize or De-Christianize Puerto Rico, Cuba, the Philippines. To degrade the Catholic societies of Latin America. To rob the Hawaiians of their sovereignity.

Christians, whether US citizens or of other states, have to undertake the preparatory steps for the Restoration. We must found military orders, patterned on the old Catholic military orders. We must found our own communities in the US, Mexico and Latin America, Canada, Europe, the Philippines, and in every place in the World, and isolate ourselves from the evil ideologies of the apostate West that has destroyed and supplanted Christendom.

The Catholic Doctrine of Romanism
The Catholic Church teaches that it and it alone is the one and only true Church set-up by and founded by our Lord, and that the groups and bodies that seceded from it and from these seceders are not members of it, but are as much strangers to it and God as the pagans.

The Catholic Church teaches that it is composed of several individual bodies of geographically limited Christian communities or Churches, usually called dioceses. eg. The Church of Rome, the Church of London, the Church of Athens, the Church of Bombay, etc.

These Churches are not independent churches in the sense of the Branch Heresy, but, using modern language, the "local chapters" of the Church.

When the Church talks of the Holy Roman Church, it means not the Catholic Church as a whole, nor does it mean "the Roman Catholic Church" as defined by Protestantism, but it means the Church of Rome, or to put in modern language, the Roman Chapter of the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.

This is what is meant by the Church, in its references to the "Church of Rome" in the documents of the Councils and in the teachings of the Magisterium.

Since the prince of the Apostles, St Peter (or Simon Bar-John) transferred his seat from the Syrian Antioch to Rome, and died there, it has therefore been understood, and that right from the beginning, that his successors are his successors in the bishopric of that city, Rome.

About the central role of this city and the Church he founded there, the last Ecumenical Council, the Council of the Vatican held in 1870 under the auspices of His Holiness Pope Pius the 9th of happy memory, reaffirming what was said by the Councils and saints before it, taught that this Church (the particular Roman Church)

The Bishop of Rome is the Pope, the occupant of the Apostolic See, in his capacity of the bishop of Rome or the Governor of the Roman Chapter and is also known as the Roman Pontiff. As a result of this, he is also the Lieutenant and Plenipotentary of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Supreme Governor of all the faithful on earth.

Aryan or Arian?
Arius was an Egyptian priest who commenced the Arian heresy that rent and threatened the entire Church at two different times: the first, immediately after he commenced this heresy, when St. Athanasius fought most valiantly against it, the second time, when the Germanic tribes, who had been won over to Arianism, over-ran the Roman Empire and broke it into separate states.

By his name, Arius was most probably of Persian descent, as Mani, the founder of the Manichaean heresy, was. The Persians and Indians being cognate people, the name Arius would be understood in India as Arya, meaning noble. (The name Mani, or jewel, is also quite frequent in India, as it was in pre-Islamic Iran. India had recently the Field Marshal Manekshaw).

On the other hand, the appellations Aryan and Aryanism are of comparatively recent development, being developed from the Hindu idea of racial superiority, and having the same root word as the name Arius — Arya, or noble. German neo-pagans adopted it from the Hindus and developed it so that it finally became Nazism.

Adi Shankaracharya : Re-Founder of Hinduism
Approximately 1350 years ago, Adi Shankaracharya was born at Kalti in the Kerala province, to a cultured Brahmin family. He studied the four Vedas at the age of eight, all the shastras at the age of twelve, and had written commentaries on the major Upanishads, the Bhagwat Gita and the Brahma-sutras at the age of sixteen.

He travelled by foot throught the length and breadth of India, initiated disciples, organised a revival of Hindu religious devotion and knowledge in the best manner possible and departed towards the sacred mountain Kailash in Tibet, the abode of the god Shiva, and did not return afterwards. But before this, he established four central monasteries, or Mutts, and installed four of his students in them. During the time, India was dominated by the ideological schools of Yantra, Tantra, Mantra, Gorakhnath, and Matsyendranath. People lost their way, facing great difficulties and troubles. At such a crucial time, Shankaracharya came and re-established the Sanatana Dharma (Orthodox Faith) as the Hindu Dharma is called, in the proper order with the help of the Upanishads (Treatises on Hindu Philosophy). Shankaracharya's revived Hinduism is called the Advaita (Non-Dualistic, i.e. Monistic) system. He did not establish any new religion, doctrine, dogma or sampradaya (sect) but brought back Hindu Dharma in its best form. He brought cultural and religious unity to India and united the whole of India. He removed the superstitions of the people and diverted the mind towards knowledge. Ashta VArshe Chaturvedi Dwadashe Sarva Shastra Vit Shodashe Kritavan Bhashyam Dwatrimshat Muni Rabhyagaat. He was the greatest poet, a tantric, logician, mystic, dialectician, theologian, architect of monistic philosophy, argumentator, preacher, teacher, philospeher, idealist, psychologist, etc.

This forms a unique feature of Shankaracharya representing the current practices of his religion, flourishing even today. Shankaracharya is considered the first Acharya (Preceptor or Teacher) because he has writen commentaries on the major Upanishads, Bhagwat Gita, and the Brahmasutras.

AFterwards, Ramanuja, Vallabh and Madhava became Acharyas. So the credit of being the first Acharya goes to Shankaracharya. He followed the Nirgun Brahman (Formless or Nirgun Supreme Soul) and Jnana Marga (Path of Knowledge) and established that salvation can be reached through knowledge. For instance, Amritam to Vidya and without knowledge there is no moksha.

He travelled by foot through India and studied the minds of the people. He came to the conclusion that all the people believed in five gods, i.e. Shiva, Vishnu, Ganesh, Surya and Shakti. So he advised all his devotees to select their favouritie god and concentrate on his worship and believe in the other four gods. People liked his idea so he evolved a new formula namely Panchayatam Puja.

Thus he united the whole of India religiously and culturally. He preached that every soul can realise that it can attain the knowledge of Brahman and can get salvation. If the soul conquers the five sense organs, Maya (Illusion), Avidya (Ignorance) and Ego, then the soul becomes Brahman (the Supreme Soul, the Advait 'God'). Such a soul does not return to earth. He composed strotras (hymns) for less educated people and these stotras are marvellous. For instance, Chidanand Rupah Shivoham, recited three times.

Thus we pray to Shiva and Shankaracharya to remove corruption and dishonesty from society. Only then can peace be realised, he preached. His words hold good even today.

Advaitism: Non-Dualism or Monism teaches that the souls are fragments of the Divine Substance, that they possess divinity, but do not perceive this truth because of being clothed in the flesh, and deceived or deluded that they are distinct, separate entities. This delusion takes two forms: illusion (Maya) and Ignorance (Avidya). The Supreme Deity in this system is called variously the Brahma-Atma, the Param-Atma (Supreme Soul) or more often Brahmaan. The souls which do not escape this illusion are condemned to be born again and again, until they achieve the realisation of this truth, when they are re-merged into the Brahmaan. This is salvation (moksha).

The modern Hindu is a product of the influence of the English and their rule over India. Before the advent of the English, and even during their rule, the Hindu has insisted on his superiority and that a Hindu is forbidden by theological Hinduism from inter-dining, social communications, etc., with members of other castes and sects, claiming that this polluted them.

The history of British India is largely the history of the British working hard to keep the peace and balance between the various castes and Hindu sects.

Hindu Intolerance
A Protestant Australian missionary was murdered along with his young sons, in the Orissa province, by a front organisation of the Sangh Parivar, an act that drew a storm of condemnation from all over India and the world for its perpetrators. The RSS hastily disowned the guilty organisation, as it did when another of its front orgs and its members had murdered Gandhi. However, they have a chip on the shoulder over the condemnation that they drew for the crime they committed in Orissa. Orissa is on their brains. So much so, that they deliberately or otherwise confuse it with yet another and distinctly different province, Tripura.

Orissa is far away from, nor contiguous with, the eastern province of Tripura. Tripura, the former kingdom of Chackla Roshangabad became involved in the Manipur-Burma War that saw the Burmese overrun the kingdoms of Manipur and Assam. In alarm, the king threw in his lot with the English in Bengal, to his immediate west, and became a vassal. Tripura went on to help the English conquer the Burmese Empire, adding Assam and Burma to the English Empire. However, there was a price to be paid for this - the kings of Tripura came to be heavily dependent on the people of Bengal, and soon they came to dominate the administration.

The province of Tripura became a princely state in the English Raj, and acceded to the Indian Union with independence. Its native people are a mix of many ethnic groups speaking various languages, though a 'lingua franca' called Kok-Borok exists. The king had come to depend on the more advanced people of neighbouring Bengal, and thus many Bengalis came to settle in the land. However, it was the partition of India that, by carving out Pakistan for the Muslims and with east Bengal made a part of the new artificial country of Pakistan, caused a rush of Bengali Hindu refugees to come and settle in Tripura, to the east of East Bengal or East Pakistan, as it was then known. As a result of this, the Bengalis became the majority. Since then, the natives have been simmering.

In the last decade or so, as the natives of the north-eastern provinces began to take up arms, so also did the Tripurans take up arms. Their first demand was and is that the Bengalis should be re-settled in the West Bengal province of the Indian Union, and that their majority in their native land be restored. More radical factions seek secession as an independent state.

This native campaign has been led by the Hindus. Native Hindus, just as in Assam, the native Hindu Assamese have started a campaign for the expulsion of the Bengali settlers there. A few years back, one of the high-ranking leaders, Jogendra Debbarma, converted to the Protestant Baptist sect, changing his name to Joshua Debbarma. As a result there was a fall-out, and Debbarma defected to the opposite faction. Apparently, besides fighting against Bengali colonisation, he also began to persuade, one way or another, the native Tripurans to join him in the Baptist sect.

During this time, the RSS too had begun its activities in Tripura, siding with the colonists. So it happened that a conflict between the RSS and the natives was bound to break out. This actually happened, and some RSS activists were captured and carried off a couple of years ago, into the rebel dominated forests. Their remains were found a few months back, in 2001, some two years later.

Whatever be the merits or demerits of Mr. Debbarma's campaign, the Baptists as a group are certainly not involved in it. No one has proved that there is institutional support, one way or the other, for Mr. Debbarma, in the Baptist sect.

Again, it is obvious enough, except to the most dense dolts, that there is no logical connection between the Baptist sect and any church building that bears the name of 'St. John the Baptist,' as does the one in Thane, in which Oscar Mendonca was assaulted.

Unfortunately enough for India, such improbable dolts do exist, and, shamelessly triumphant about it, have, in matter of fact, so come to dominate India, that, at this moment, are ruling at the federal level!

However, what the news articles fail to mention, is that the mob attack occured as a result of a protest gathering of the Sangh Parivar in the vicinity of the church, in which provocative speeches were made against the 'Baptist' church for its alleged involvement in the execution of their agents in Tripura / Orissa! The location of the meeting was deliberate and with the usual intention of later indulging in intimidatory violence against the church. The police and civic administrations turned a deliberate blind eye towards this and did not even act to prevent the gathering from converging on the church and vandalising it. This happened because of the widespread rot in Indian society, with the Hindus being generally brainwashed against Christians and Muslims, and overtly or covertly entertaining hostility or apathy towards them. This cancer has infilterated all sections of the state - including the civic administrations and the police, etc. All actions against such mischief are, if at all, perfunctory and a mere formality, an eyewash!

Hinduism and Beef
Indian Food, a scholarly look at the gastronomic traditions of ancient India by Dr. K. T. Acharya, says that the Vedic gods ate all kinds of meats, including that of horses, buffaloes, bulls and cows. For instance, the Rig Veda recounts the rituals in animal sacrifice, the roasting and carving - with Brahmin priests receiving choice cuts as prasad (the 'Communion,' co-partaking in the food sacrificed to the gods).

The god Pushan favoured the meat of black cows, Rudra red cows, Vishnu oxen, Agni and Indra bulls. Indra is urged to slay his foes 'just as cows are butchered at the place of sacrifice.'

In the epic Ramayana and Maha-Bharat, sumptuous feasts abound with the meat of pigs, deer, sheep, fowl, camels, and 'young buffalo calves roasted on spits with ghee (a kind of butter) dropping on them.'

The Atharva Veda mentions the sacrificed cow as destined for the gods and brahmins,' and in the Brhadaranyak Upanishad, Sushrutha, the father of Indian medicine, describes beef as pavitra (pure) for health.

When utilitarian needs sought to discourage the slaying of milch cows and draught oxen by declaring beef-eating a sin, the Upanishadic sage Yagnavalkya stated in the Shatapath Brahmana: "That may well be, but I shall eat of it nevertheless if the flesh is tender."

It wasn't until the rise of Mahavir and the Jain religion and later, the advent of the Mauryan emperor Ashoka who adopted Buddhism and made it the State Religion, that the ethos of total vegetarianism began to take hold among a section of the populace, mainly the brahmins.

Against the Hindu Terrorists – Brown Shirts
The RSS chief Mr. K. S. Sudershan made many times an appeal to the Indian Government and to Indian Christians to break Indian Christianity from foreign contacts and establish a state-controlled and sanitized pro-Hindu schismatic sect. India does not suffer from any nuisance caused by Christians, whether Indian or foreign, except in the jaundiced minds of idiotic half-panted wannabe Hitlerite poltroons, but suffers really from the monstrosities of Hinduism’s caste system – which has even overflowed and infected the other, even egalitarian religions. It is this that needs the attention, even urgent attention, of the Indian state.

In India, we have had this indigenous nazism, this Indian apartheid for two thousand years and more. In this time, its victims have not only be brutalized and debased, but even brainwashed into accepting this condition. On the other hand, the self-styled ‘caste’ Hindus – the beneficiaries and sustainers of this most monstrous of things in Indian history have monopolized land and about everything else, except the jobs considered demeaning, which they have reserved for their victims, and gorging themselves on the best of the land, have grown fat and sleek, the while ranting about the lack of culture and hygiene of their victims, Also, their temples have grown rich and fat on this same plunder. Obviously, it is this problem that needs to be addressed. Affirmative action has been a great failure, and it has not addressed the root causes of the problem, allowing the evil to continue and to even comeback. Therefore what India needs, and desperately, is a state forced reform of the Hindu religion to entirely extirpate the caste system. The state needs to set up a state-sponsored and controlled, sanitized Reformed Hindu Church, in which the obscurantists, purveyors of irrationalities and superstitions, are systematically suppressed. We can learn, as Sudarshan so lovingly desires, from the Chinese Communists. We will need re-education camps, concentration camps for the recalcitrants, pliant reformists, the merciless rooting out of Manuwad and Dvijwad, the confiscation and redistribution of lands and other properties of the reactionaries and their temples, their disarmament and strict exclusion from Public Offices, the empowerment of their victims, the formation of communes and a program of Reparative Community Service as a means for the rehabilitation of the criminals, etc., etc.

This is the real program for reform that India needs, one that will benefit both India and all humanity, and one to which Indian Christians will gladly and happily offer their fullest co-operation and support.

The Hindu Revivalists have organised a terrorist force patterned on the Nazi Stormtroopers - the R.S.S. (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh or the National Self-Reliance League.)

The R.S.S. has added a new theme to its constant campaign of mischief - it wants a 'house-trained' church - domesticated, docile and toeing its line.

But let us ask: What is the R.S.S.'s locus standi? None. It is, as usual, being impertinent and meddling in other people's affairs.

The government of the various creedal bodies, confessions, communions, etc., are their own internal affair, and no other body has a right to interfere. Only states may, and only so far as to preserve order.

Obviously, Indian Christianity is neither posing a problem of law and order nor questions India's unity.

We all know that, despite what its partisans like to pretend, the Parivar is an evil and criminal entity and seeks to undermine the Indian state and disturb its law and order.
They wish to establish a Hindu, Manuwad, fascist state.

But this is not the sum of their criminality.

The Parivar, more than anything else, represents an attempt by the criminal Manuwad - the world's oldest system of Apartheid, some 3300 years old, to claw its way back to an Ascendancy.

As such, the Parivar is the front of Manuwad, the Indian Boerdom. And that entity is criminal; its very continued existence a crime against humanity.

They possess the best land in India - robbed from their Dalit victims. They possess the most of India's wealth. And their temples are filthy rich with loot.

And they sit amid this stolen wealth contemning their victims as socially and culturally inferior; subhuman beings. But who made them so?

The Manuwadists did.
Their fathers robbed, and not only of material goods, but also social and cultural goods.
When the Aryans debauched into India, then Maluha, they were cattle-raising nomadic barbarians off Eurasia’s northern steppes – their ancient homeland that they call the Uttara Kuru – they found civilised people who lived in sophisticated city-civilisations – the Nagas and the Dravids.

The history of the Aryans themselves attest to this fact – so much so that they record how the Aryans, unadept at building cities, press-ganged Naga prisoners-of-wars into building the first Aryan city in India – Hastinapuram.

But the Aryans, following their conquests, murdered the native artists and intellectuals, and forbade learning to the enslaved remainder at pain of the greatest brutuality.
It is this, that made the Dalits ‘uncultured’ as they are today.

This is Indian, nay Hindu culture, peacability, love and tolerance.

It is now time for justice.

Affirmative action is not it. It lays the burden on the general citizenry, not on the perpetrators.

The burden of justice must lie on the perpetrators.

Justice is Restitution, Reparation, Retribution.

The perpetrators are the System of Manuwad – Caste Hindus – the Dvijas: Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas; their institutions social, cultural, and religions.(It is not enough to stop cultivation weeds. They will not go away by themselves, will not wither away but will continue to florish. To restore, one must DESTROY, UPROOT the weeds, and replant.)

They are holding stolen goods – land and wealth. They and they alone must pay. And not only in land and wealth, but also in Community Service.

Finally, to come back to where we started: Manuwad’s demand that the Indian State takeover the Church.

It is not the Church that needs to be controlled / regulated by the State; it is Hinduism – which, as an organism, is culpable of Manuwad – that needs to be regulated and controlled. In order to uproot, eradicate and re-educated the perpetrators and rehabilitate and de-Stockholmise their victims, so that never again – never, never, again, can Manuwad raise its ugly head.

The Dung Eaters
The Caste System or Varna Ashrama (Colour System) is the warp and woof of the Hindu religion. No one can be a Hindu except that he belongs to one or the other caste. This is essential for the Upanayana Samskara, the rite or 'sacrament' that initiates one into the Sanatana Dharma, the Orthodox Faith, i.e. Hinduism. The officiating priest needs to be convinced about the prospective initiatee's caste, and that his father was also initiated, or he must not perform the ceremony. Again, only members of the three upper castes, the Brahmins, Kshatriyas and Vaishyas can undergo this ceremony, thus becoming the privileged Dvija the twice-born. The Shudras, the fourth caste, are also accounted as Hindus, but are not entitled to have this ceremony performed for them, wear the Jenua or 'Sacred Thread' that is the mark of the twice-born, and either worship in the temples or learn the scriptures and their exegeses, at the risk of being severely maltreated and abused, and even lynched, as the Hindu scriptures command.

The ancient king of Kosala, Rama, who is the main protagonist of the epic, the Ramayana, and who had his capital in Ayodhya, near modern Faizabad, U.P., was informed by the Brahmins that a Shudra, Tsambuk, had the temerity to take to asceticism. In accordance with the teachings of the Hindu scriptures, Rama appeared at the scene, and without conversing or 'dialoging' with Tsambuk, (which would only have polluted him, anyway), shot an arrow at him and murdered him.

There is a virtual 'fifth' caste - the Mlechha, or Mlechhas, in plural. These are all those who are foreigners, those who have abandoned the Hindu religion by embracing the Buddhist or Jain religions, or the later entrants, Christianity and Islam, as also the 'lapsees' - Hindus who have neglected or missed the initiatory Upanayana Samskara for one or more generation, as had happened with the family of Shivaji Bhosale, the founder of the Maratha empire.

Both Shudras and Mlechhas are Achut - Polluting and Untouchable, whose mere presence, leave alone touch, pollutes. This Pollution is only lost by washing in the waters of the Ganga, or some particular other river which have the same attributes as the Ganga.

There is a rite for repairing this loss of caste, or of adding a person to a caste, or changing a person's caste position, and this is what was done in Shivaji's case. However, his step brother and his descendants, the Rajas of Tanjore in Tamil Nadu, south India, did not go throught this process, as a result of which they are accounted as Shudras to this day!

The reason why this being pointed is to clarify that Snedden was not forbidden entry to the Kashi Vishwanath temple because he was a foreigner, but because he was a Mlechha; lower even than the Shudra, and as such his presence in the temple would pollute it!

The south Indian singer, Yesudas, (Servant of Jesus), originally a Christian, but a 'convert' to Hinduism, and famous for his hymns to Ayyappa, etc., has not been allowed to worship the idol of Ayyappa, as the caste Hindus have been allowed, because he is a Christian by birth, and not because he is a foreigner!

Hinduism has been galvanised into making converts as a retaliatory measure against Christian proselytisation. However, the converts to Hinduism are largely not properly converts, because they have not been intiated into the religion.

The Crusades – Islam wronges
"The West has a problem with Islam. Islam has a problem with the West. Medieval history witnessed it when an imperialist Christian world attacked Islam, still young and innocent."

It is a historical fact that Islam began as an overtly militant and aggressive cult in its fundamental and inherent nature of being & remains so. It was Islam that attacked, without any provocation whatsoever, its Christian neighbours, overran their lands and committed genocide and enslaved the remainder. List of the Christian lands and peoples that Islam encroached upon: Roman Arabia, Arabia Felix, Israel (Philistia), Jordan, Iraq (Chaldea, Assyria and Hadiabene), Syria (Aram), Lebanon (Phoenicia), Turkey (Bythinia, Cappadocia, Cilicia, Galatia, Caria, Pontus, etc.), Thrace, Egypt (the Copts), Sudan (Nubia and Axum), Libya (Lybia, Cyrenaica and Tripolitania), Tunisia (Roman Africa Nova et Vetera & Carthage), Algeria (Roman Africa, Numidia & Gætulia), Morocco(Roman Mauretania), Spain (Roman Iberia), Portugal (Lusitania), South France ("The Muslims were at last defeated by Charles Martel at Tours, in 732, just one hundred years from the death of Mohammed"), Southern Italy (Sicilia & Neapolitania), Malta (Melita), Armenia (Hayastan), Georgia, Azerbaijan (Roman Albania, not modern Albania which was Roman Illyrica), etc.

The many nations of Iran were Zorastrian, together with the Kurds, Sogdians (Tadjiks) and the peoples of Ariana. Some Zorastrians escaped the Islamic Conquest and Genocide to India, becoming the Parsees. Today, even the fanatically Muslim Iranians look back with horror and loathing on, and denounce that original Conquest and Genocide as the grossest barbarism (Naqba).

The Turks, as the many Indophile nations of Central Asia and West India (Pakistan & Afghanistan), were Budhists and Hindus. Again, we have that same story of unprovoked aggression, imperialism, colonialism, barbarism. The Turks were forced to become Muslim, and then went on to perpetrate those same misanthropies on others.

All these lands were subject to Islamic Imperialism, Genocide, Ethnic Cleansing, Colonialism and Demographic Re-Engineering in order to create Islamic majorities.

The Islamic Conquests — really a Naqba (Catastrophe), if there was ever one, began with the foundation of Islam in the sixth century. On the contrary, the Crusades began only in the eleventh century, under Pope Urban II (Otto von Lagery), who, at Clermont, France, in November, 1095 inaugurated it, proclaiming it 'God's Will.'

The Crusades, were thus, chronologically latter to the Islamic Aggressions and in response to them, and specifically to immediate and gross provocations.

The immediate provocation for the first crusade was the Islamic mistreatment of Christian pilgrims to Israel — to Jerusalem and the sites connected to Lord Jesus Christ, together with attempts to deny Christians access to these sites.

Christian imperialism vs. an Islam young and innocent? An innocence earned by and spent in the wanton and unprovoked spilling of the blood of millions of Christians, Zorastrians, Hindus and Buddhists, in their enslavement and dehumanisation? Young Islam: Four or five centuries of an Islamic youth spent in mayhem and rapine, in the grossest barbarism against unprovoking victims?

The West has a problem with Islam? Rather Islam has a problem with the West, India, everybody! Does Anupreeta Das remember the Hindu Kush mountains: a range so seeped with the blood of millions of enslaved, raped and murdered Hindus that the Muslims have renamed what was the Uparisena Mountains by that lovely and pacific name "Hindu Kush" or the Killing of the Hindus? So, it was only the Christians who had a problem with the Muslims?

The What and Why of Indian Apartheid
Apartheid systems are systems in which two distict ethnic, social or descent-defined peoples live, not in harmony and as equals, but with one ruling as superiors and the other enslaved in some degree as inferiors.

Apartheid is nearly a universal phenomenon. Nevertheless, it is outstanding in some cases. The major cases in the contemporary world are the Japanese, Anglo-American, Rwanda-Burundian, and the Indian cases. There was also the South African, now, perhaps, thankfully ended.

Of these the oldest is the Indian. It came into being, when, according to their own histories, the Aryas, the self-styled "noble" people ingressed into India and overran the two pre-Aryan societies - the Dravidian in the West or Sindh river basin and the Naga in the East or the Gangetic-Bhramaputra rivers basins.

According to the Hindu religion which these Aryans brought in and developed, mankind is divided into five stratas - at the top, the Brahmins, under them the Kshatriyas, then the Vaisyas, then the Shudras and lastly the Mlenchhas or barbarians, all those who did not belong to the first four stratas, and therefore those Indians who had never been conquered and enslaved, such as the forest and hill tribals or Adivasis (Aborigines), those who abandoned the Hindu religion, such as the Jains, the Budhists, the Christians, the Muslims, the Sikhs, etc., or who lapsed by not following the rituals so that atleast one generation had passed without being initiated, and all foreingers.

In modern India, oppression under this system, which the "Aryas" style the Varna-asrama or the Color System, and which from Portuguese times came to be called the Caste (or Purity) System, has been outlawed; nevertheless, its adherents openly follow it and the oppression continues rampant.

The state of India has sought to remedy it by a temporary system of Affirmative Action, but it has been nothing but a colossal failure, besides alienating the general populace and thereby worsening the oppression.

Times - Anti-Christian Propaganda
The English press in India, ostensibly secular and ostensibly controlled by liberal Hindus, is just as eager to provide a platform for anti-Christian propaganda as the vernacular press. The Jain sect, formerly a non-Hindu sect, but over the centuries degenerated and lost to its roots, provides a large number of extreme anti-Christians - such as the owners of the Times of India.

The Times think that it can get away with this mischief because, it thinks, that the Christians are a confused lot of pacifist idiots. While that is largely true, even a worm can turn.

The Times of India wants to show that it is brave and fearless; there is no courage in taking on the miniscule, pacific Indian Christian sector. Let it show its bravery, courage and fearlessness by exposing Hindu and Jain myths...

The contention that "modern scholarship has discovered Christ's events to be historically unverifiable" is all hogwash. Christianity is based on historical facts - not on a mythology. Those facts have been certainly proved, time and again. The "scholars" who make such contentions are not neutral investigators and students of the facts but overtly biased idiots. Those who support and consort with them are on the same level of intelligence.

But if it is true, then the further contention that Christians can restrict themselves to an emotionalist attachment to a disproved mythology is just more pap. As the Apostle St. Paul put it, if the claims of the historic events of Christianity are not true, then we want nothing with it - certainly, we do not wish to to delude ourselves with a disproved foolishness.

Right from the beginnings, Christianity has been acutely concious of the necessity of proving the truth of its historical claims.

Roots of Evolutionism
Theory of Evolution:
Evolutionism postulates that innumerable Evolution Events happened. Thus for example, that from a series of Evolutionary Events, taking off from numerous related species evolving in near about the same time, numerous related or similar species evolved. Thus, for example, the Dinosaurs. One can call such a series of events occurring in a relatively short period of time as being the respective Evolutionary “Breaking-Out Point”.

But if this is true, one must ask: Why did not the same happen with Man? Why is there merely one species of Man? If the Evolutionary Hypothesis is true, then there must be, in fact, numerous species of human beings!

As a matter of fact, it is necessary, if the Evolutionary Hypothesis is true, that there should have been a critical time when many different and related species of sub-human species produced evolved human species.

Moreover, given that Evolutionary pressure had built up at that given point, it is natural that not only should multiple versions of Man have evolved, but that the evolution of new species of man should have been an ongoing process even down to our times, so that more and more evolved species of man would have arisen, even in historical times.

That is, it should have been evident, if Evolutionism is true, that even in our time, newer and newer species of human beings are evolving from the sub-human species. But it is precisely that this is not evident.

Again, given the same evolutionary process, it is obvious that not only would the evolution of human beings be diversified and ongoing, but that even so, the next step too should have occurred and be occurring - the evolution of higher men - supermen or men with even higher capabilities and superior to the Homo sapiens species.

But, none of this has happened or is discernible. This absence is telling.

When reflecting on the subject, one is obliged to examine the roots of the Evolutionist Dogma. It is received wisdom that Evolutionism is a Scientific Breakthrough, arising out of the progress of scientific inquiry. However, this is a lie, a mere mythology.

The true roots of Evolutionism are in the Protestant Schisms. Men in Europe had worked for long - through the co-related heresies of Regalism, Gallicanism, Conciliarism, Husitism, etc. to break the hold and power of the Church over European Society - the Religio-Socio-Political System or Civilization called “Christendom” - in order to be free from the dictates, restrictions and strictures of Christ and Christianity, and to permit men to be free, absolutely, to go where one desired. This is the “Free Thought” movement, also called the “Anti-Clericalist” movement.

[The first opportunity to these malefactors was unwittingly provided by degenerate Churchmen who sponsored and cultivated a revived though “domesticated” form of the ancient, pre-Christian paganisms of the Graeco-Roman world, in the form of the “Renaissance.”]

With the Protestant Schisms, the power of the Church was successfully destroyed over a vast number of peoples of Europe - mainly those peoples who had seceded to, or had been hijacked, as in Scandinavia, by the Protestants. Again, in France, the Kings there had increasingly, for egoistic reasons, since the King Philip “the Fair”, taken a position contrary to that of the Church, and had gladly aligned itself with the Protestants against Christendom.

The net result of these Events was, more than the ostentatious creation of Protestants, the creation of the “Emancipated” or “Liberals”.

As a result of these events, men cast off the strictures and restraints of Christ and His Church and coursed off into different directions. The Heresy of Liberalism was emancipated and developed into Capitalism on one side and (progressively) Communalism, Collectivism, Socialism, Communism, on the other. In the Domain of Science, the Liberals or Emancipated began to work overtime to fabricate an alternative cosmogony than that prescribed by Christianity. This was crucial in order to complete the work of destroying Christendom and “liberating” man from Christianity.

It, also, had nothing whatsoever to do with any real science. On the contrary, the desire was the father of the resultant theories.

When one sits down to dispassionately examine the theory of Evolutionism, one sees that there is no scientific basis whatsoever to it. It was only a theory, and a theory that has woefully failed to be proven.

But even as it has failed to be proven, it has been elevated to the position of an uncritical, and uncritizable Dogma of “Modern Civilization”, to question which is to be “obscurantist” and “unscientific.” But it is precisely that such an attitude is not based on Science, pure and simple, but on a Populism based on an Emotionalist hysteria, quite in keeping with that which Ronald Knox cuttingly characterized as the “Funny Inner Feeling” Syndrome - “Fifism”.

This is the modern Dogmaticism that makes a fetish of being virulently opposed to Catholic Dogmaticism as “Dogmaticism”, the modern Fundamentalism that makes a fetish of being virulently opposed to Catholic Fundamentalism as “Fundamentalism”; of the Received and Unquestionable Religion of Materialism, where the “Scientist” (quite precisely portrayed in popular perception as the Mad, or Absent-Minded Scientist) substitutes the Priests of the Church, and are far more authoritative, being, each of them, Infallible Oracles of Wisdom - the Druids of the Reborn Pagan, New Age West!

Like the Mullas and Maulavis and Imams etc. of Islam, who are each of them infallible, these modern Druids too are infallible, uttering grandiose Fatwas that are supposed to be the next highest resolution of scientific questions, despite the fact that they make for a very ridiculous picture in contradicting themselves, one another, and taking opposite and fantastic positions.

Thus one of these modern Ghazis will piously intone and inform all the world and his uncle that eating eggs, for example, is the key to good health and longevity; only to be contradicted shortly thereafter when another of these infallible Ghazis proclaims that eggs are quite poisonous, cancerous or whatever, and absolutely a no-no!

It does not take a genius to see that these modern Druids have given us the monsters of Thalidomide or of DDT which were, in their time, hailed as the next great hope of mankind, only to be denounced in turns as grave dangers to humanity! Darwinism was not born suddenly, spontaneously out of nothing. On the contrary, he marked the high point of an evolutionary process whereby men worked and were worked and instigated over ideas in order to create a respectably credible mythology of the origin of man which could be positioned as more credible and “scientific” than the account of Christianity.

These men, including Darwin, were cultivated and financed by the new robber barons of Protestantism and Free Thought who amassed their wealth by Rapine and Piracy, more usually than not, targeted at the Catholic States of the World, such as the Spanish and Portuguese Empires spanning the Old and New Worlds, or of the recalcitrant Catholic peoples of Protestant Europe, such as of England and of the Scotch Highlands or of Eire.

They were not scientific talents picked off the streets or from Academia, but paid hacks cultivated and fostered with the specific agenda of fabricating the Official Mythology of the new, anti-Christian “Civilisation”, the West, created to Destroy and Supplant Christendom.

What is true of Darwin is true also of Karl Marx, as every historian is acutely aware. Marx was sponsored and financed and commissioned by Capitalists to write and draw up the “ideology” of Communism as a more virulent form of Socialism. [It may not have escaped observers that “Evolutionism” as the Modern Popular Religion, evolved into UFO-ism on one part, and the New-Age movement on the other.]

Evolutionism Leads Inexorably To Polygenism, Racism and Nazism!

Once one acknowledges Evolution to be true, there is no rational basis for postulating that mankind is one. Polygenism, the idea that the different "races" are in fact, different though related and similar races or "species", is inevitable. Evolutionism does not have any place for the higher feelings. All that is, from the Evolutionist viewpoint, a lot of nonsense. The only moral virtue is survival, and in order to survive and to propagate oneself, all and every means are legitimate. Further, considering the Evolutionist hypothesis, it is impossible to reject the idea that some kinds of men are, in fact, inferior or sub-human, and other kinds, supermen or higher species, even a species on the cusp of evolving to the next higher stage...

Germany was the epicenter of the Protestant Schisms. In Germany, following these Schisms, society was no longer monolithic — ordered by one single moral authority, as it was by the Catholic Church before, but came to be split into innumerable religious sects. This produced the spirit of rejection of Christianity in totality, not merely of what the founders of Protestantism denounced as "Romanism" or "Papism".

This culture produced Nietsche, who is the true philosophical parent of Nazism. Nietsche was attracted towards Hinduism, towards its racist and misanthropic ideology as set out by the Manu-Smriti, the Hindu Social Code, and adopted and adapted these ideas, which became rife in Europe.

The claim being put forward by Moore & Desmond is utterly fantastic and beggars belief. It is also irrational.

Christianity had made several efforts over time to abolish Slavery. Popes had outlawed it several times. However, first the Barbarian invasions and colonisation of the Roman Imperial territories, and then the onslaught of Islam, created situations that fostered slavery.

Once again, in the modern age, it was believing Christians that moved and agitated long and successfully for the ban on slavery by International Conventions. Non-Christians had no part to play in pushing this movement. Taking again this "claim" made on behalf of Darwin, on examination, it is very evidently irrational and idiotic. If Darwin was moved — solely by opposition to Slavery & Racism — he fabricated a system that, right from its very beginning, justified exactly both of these! If he had been motivated solely by opposition to Slavery & Racism, he would have contrived a system that would have have been fundamentally opposed to both these ideas.

It is evident that Moore & Desmond are merely indulging in an emotialist exercise, in an effort to create a "hagiography" of Charles Darwin, to make a "moral saint" of him.
But it is also evident that they are lying, that their premises are self-evidently false.
Their work is merely an exercise in propagating Darwinian Poppycock!

Protestants : They Protest too much
The Protestants, like the lady of the tale, protest too much. They are vehement in their claims that Catholicism is un-Biblical while they are Biblical. Yet, when one sits with the Bible, one soon enough finds that if anybody is un-Biblical, it is the Protestants. The Bible is not a book. It is a collection of books. That collection has not been put together by itself, by its own internal authority. Therefore, if one were to sit down and search the Bible, one would not find anywhere a statement telling us which independent books are to be considered as part of the Bible.

Therefore, one is compelled to look for an external authority which put together the books into the Bible and which keeps them there, and which also kept out and keeps out other books.

That fact is in itself enough to destroy the very basis of the Protestant heresies - which, despite their diversity, are united in certain common errors - most notable of which is that of "Sola Scriptura".

Protestants are famous for going around piously quoting Apocalypse (Revelations) to the effect that one should not add to or subtract from "this book". "This book" refers not to the Bible as a whole, but merely to the Book of the Apocalypse (Revelations), which was written as an independent book. It does not even include the Gospel of St. John, despite having the same human author. And yet, it is precisely the Prots who are guilty of violating their own rule. Protestantism has famously, on the authority of Luther, added a word to the Bible. The Bible tells us: "Salvation is by faith." Yet the Bible also tells us: "Faith without works is dead." Yet the Prots hate "Works" and insist on Faith Alone - The Heresy of Sola Fide - so much so that Luther insisted on adding, upon his own authority, the word "alone" to the first quote, so that it now read: "Salvation is by faith alone"! As for "Subtracting" the Protestants have, upon their own spurious authority, and following the authority of the post-Christian Jews, who had not only rejected Christ but who also followed up their malice by excising many books from the Alexandrian Canon to create the so-called "Jerusalem Canon", cut out many books from the Bible.

Things were so bad that Luther excised some seven books out of the New Testament - including Hebrews and James - as "Apocryphal"! It is only after his death that the Protestants have restored these seven books, so that the Catholic and Protestant New Testaments have the same books.

Even so, the Protestants have taken a mere gloss added by a Catholic monk-scribe of many centuries after Christ, and added it to the main text of the Bible, to the Pater Noster: "For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory; Now and forever." However, the greatest problem with the Prots is that they falsify the word of Christ in a very crucial text. Our Lord clearly tells Peter: "Blessed are thou, Simon Bar-Jonah… I tell you, you are a rock, and on this rock I shall build my Church, and the Gates of Hell shall not prevail against it. And I shall give unto you the Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatsoever you shall loosen on earth shall be loosened in heaven." This text is the very heart of the Petrine Claim; of the Institution of the Papacy. For more than fifteen hundred years of Church history, despite innumerable heresies and schisms, there were no real rejection of this text. Yet the Prots innovated in order to change and to falsify the meaning of this text in order to exclude and deny the ancient and clear meaning of these words.

When one examines the history of Christianity, one is struck by the fact that Catholicism has been the most adamant and implacable foe of what constitutes "Modernity" - the present social and cultural beliefs. Everywhere that the Catholics dominated and ruled, they fought hard and long to withstand. In all these countries, revolutionaries had to stage long and bloody pogroms after pogroms in order to bludgeon the people into decadence and immorality.

Yet, one is astonished that the same did not happen in the Prot dominated countries. There there were no vicious civil wars, no bitter strivings. On the contrary, in those countries one finds a gradual and orderly passage into daily more immorality and decadence - into bestiality and godlessness. There were revolutions and civil wars in Czech, in France, in Austria and in Catholic Germany, in Spain, Portugal, Italy, and in Latin America. The French, Spanish, Portuguese, Mexican and now the Cuban Revolutions have been bloody and vicious. Yet, there have been no similar revolutions in Prot lands.

Protestantism invented Secularism and is very proud of it. Prots insist and demand the separation of Church and State. Yet, Secularism is not only un-Biblical, it is anti-Biblical.
Despite some, now forgotten heresies, such as Montanism, Manichaeanism, Bogomilism, Catharism and Albigensianism, which postulated that the God of the Old Testament is an Evil God opposed to the God of the New Testament, Christians are agreed in recognizing that the God of both the Testaments is one and the same.

Yet, in the Old Testament, God is insistent on the duty of the Kings of Israel, and latter of the Northern and Southern Kingdoms, to uphold the True Faith and to prohibit false cults and false ‘gods’. In both, the Books of the Kings, and in the Books of the Paralipomenon, or "Chronicles", God judges each individual king on the basis of the extent to which he applied this principle - those who were judged good were the ones who strictly imposed the True Faith and who vigorously rooted out the Baals and other false gods.

[A digression: The Antichurch is big on promoting the heresy of Ecumenism - where one accepts the legitimacy of Rama, Krishna, Ganpati, Sai Baba and all the other Hindu gods. If the Bible is insistent, to the point of obsession, on rejecting the Baals, how can we accept the "devas," "boothas," "naths," "surs,", etc? If we are obliged to reject the Baals, we are obliged to reject these, the Indian Baals. But if we accept the legitimacy of these Indian Baals, then we must necessarily reject the legitimacy of the Bible and of the God of the Bible…] Jesus Christ never reversed this principle. On the contrary, he himself reaffirmed them quite sharply, and St. Peter, inspired by God, also reaffirms it sharply in the Acts of the Apostles.

The Holy Inquisition of the Church, and of the Catholic States, follows immediately from this principle. It is true that the Inquisition, as is the Church, is made up of corruptible men, who can misuse their position to do wrong. However, on the whole, both in principle and in practice, the Holy Inquisitions were always a force for good, and acted as a barrier and disincentive towards evil. Which is the reason why the licentious and the fornicators always hated and schemed against the Holy Inquisitions.

The Prots have always railed against Catholics for their numerous and sumptuous churches and have alleged that the monies could have been better used to aid the poor and the needy. Those are echoes of the words of the hypocrites of our Lord’s own time on earth, the words of Judas.

When the repentant prostitute brought a jar of expensive balm, came in to our Lord, broke it to anoint His feet, etc., then too the hypocrites complained. One of their complaints was that the money could have been better used to aid the poor. "The poor will always be with you," retorted our Lord.

We need our churches in order to centre ourselves as a community and in order to honour and worship God. God deserves our best. That is why Catholics had scrimped and saved only in order to build themselves magnificent churches.

And yet, ironically, no other people have done as much in charity for men indiscriminate of their origins and beliefs as have the Catholics. Indeed, it seems that the Charity of the Catholics - funded by the unquestioning generosity of poor Catholics who scrimped and saved in order to donate lavishly to the Church for its missions of Charity - far outstrips the charity of all other groups combined.

No other people have spent so much of their energies to universalise the benefits of civilization and progress among all mankind. No other people have spent so much of their energies tending to the sick, ill and abandoned victims of disease and ill health, as have the Catholics.

Yet another reproach that the heretics make against us is that of "idolatry." They insist that Christians are forbidden the use of Statues and of pictures to aid them in their worship.

In this, they are eminently anti-Biblical, even more than merely being un-Biblical. God, in the Bible, certainly forbids men from making themselves images and pictures. However, God himself orders the Jews shortly after to make images and pictures of angels, etc., for the Tabernacle and for the furniture of the Holy Ark. God did not contradict himself. What he means is to forbid the use of images and statues as if they were God, or "gods", in the sense of the pagans. However, their uses purely as aids in praying, in representing to ourselves in a tangible manner the intangible wonders of God, his saints and angels, is not idolatry.

During the Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt, we see that when they thought Moses lost, they lost their nerves and surrendered to their base passions and superstitions, and made themselves a Golden Calf to worship as their God, for which God punished them. And yet, very shortly, when they were once again punished for their sins, Moses was commanded to create a bronze serpent and set it upon a pole, so that whoever looked upon it would be saved. What is one to make of this later episode from the Prot, Iconoclastic viewpoint: That God commanded "idolatry" by means of the bronze serpent?

The Bible exhibits a deep ambivalence about the Jews. In many places, the word Jew means an Israelite who is faithful to God. However, in many other places, the word means an Israelite who is unfaithful to God.

It is a matter of fact that the vast majority of the Jews rejected Christ. Up until that time, the ambivalence was justifiable. However, from that time onwards, the Israelites who accepted and obeyed the Messias became to be known as Christians, and were merged indiscriminately with the Gentiles who also converted to Christ. Christ was born a Jew, but died a Christian. He came in fulfilment of the prophecies and rituals of the Mosaic Law that prefigured him and his coming, and he thereby promulgated the New Law and the New Dispensation, which is the perfection of the Old Law, the Mosaic Covenant.

From that time onwards, the name Jew came to be reserved to those Jews who had chosen to be PERFIDIOUS - in that they rejected, scorned, and even murdered the Messias.

The Murder of the Messias lies upon all men, for he was ordained to be a sacrifice for the sins of all men. Therefore, every man who has sinned, and who sins, has crucified Christ or crucifies Christ.

Yet, in a special and unique way, the Jews are especially responsible for the Murder of Christ. It is they who agitated for it, who schemed and plotted it. This is in sharp contrast to their responsibilities and the special favours shown to them by God, which made it their special responsibility to welcome and aid the Messias in his mission to save mankind.

But not only did the Jews plot, scheme and achieve the Murder of the Messias, but they also have formally called down upon themselves the curse for this Murder, the greatest blasphemy reinforced by their insolence.

By this single act, the Jews bound themselves, and have been bound, just as the Sin of Adam has stained and bound all mankind, as his descendants.

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was born a Hindu, a Bania or Vaisya. His mother was a particular follower of the Satnamist school of Hinduism.

Satnamism developed as a response to the impact of Islam and its furious monotheism, its furious condemnation of the pantheism of Hinduism. But while other reform movements, such as the one that produced Sikhism sought to remake Hinduism as a monotheistic religion, Satnamism adopted this as only a cosmetic effort and concentrated rather on an effort at whitewashing and justifying the immodesty, grotesqueness, obscenity and maliciousness of Hindu paganism and pantheism.

It was this Satnamism in which Gandhi was nurtured and brought up. During his time and in the time immediately before him, since the past few generations, Satnamism reiterated its basic approach in response to the impact of English Protestant monotheism.

Challenged by English Protestantism, Gandhi resolutely held to his Satnamist beliefs without question, and sought to ramify them by latching onto the Western Antichristian tradition.

This tradition had systematically misrepresented Christ to deny his Godhood, his salvific passion. Gandhi adopted this and made these his own.

Gandhi was undoubtedly and incontrovertibly a great man, a determined man who achieved great success in influencing his neighbours, both Indian and English. He was a man who determinedly and consistently cultivated charisma and the art of influencing and overawing people, to get them to do as he wanted. And he was eminently successful. But he was just as incontrovertibly and deliberately a hypocrite, one who misrepresented Christ.

Gandhi, then, was certainly great, a very great man. Other men have come before him and since him; men with great determination, who concentrated on their core beliefs and who left a deep mark on mankind. George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Gracia Moreno. Gautama Buddha who took on the might of Hinduism and of the Brahmins to found his protest movement. Alexander the Great who took on the might of the immense and far-flung Persian empire and succeeded in overthrowing it and conquering it, going down to each and every corner of that empire to ensure its submission. Peter the Great who seized Russia by its beard and dragged it into the modern age. Columbus who pursued his faith and did not allow himself to be discouraged. Napoleon and Hitler with their dreams of world domination. Winston Churchill with his determination not to allow England to succumb to Hitler. And so many others. They were all great men.

Jesus In India
There is a popular myth that Jesus came to India during his lifetime, or after fleeing his ('atempted') crucifixion and death, learnt from the local peoples and developed his own ideology according to what he learnt in India.

This is just another anti-Christian lie, designed to confuse and seduce souls from God and into the fires of hell.

Jesus was a Jew. But more than a Jew, he was the unique Son of God, God Incarnate. Now, while there were and are many claims of incarnations, none of them have the status that Jesus had.

The claims of each of these 'incarnates' emerged suddenly without any root in history and traditions. On the contrary, Jesus was foretold for millenia, from the first man. Coming to more recent times before his coming, he was specifically foretold by Jacob Israel, by Moses and by the traitor prophet Balaam, by David, and countless others. They foretold all the details surrounding him, and he came in the exact fulfilment of those promises.

As a Jew, Jesus knew the first commandment, which forbade any thing to do with any of the pagan, false, man-made religions of the nations around him. And while there were always Jews who betrayed God and violated his commandments, to allege the same of Jesus is the height of stupidity and of cultivated spiritual cupidity.

Whatever Jesus taught was already taught in the Jewish religion, and was foretold of him. He merely amplified and purified them, while other provisions were abolished or modified as they were fulfilled by his coming.

Again, it is the grossest stupidity that Jesus had to come all the way to India to learn from the pagans. Israel of his day was surrounded by pagan nations on all sides. Pagans who ruled the country from the Greek times had settled in colonies that in his time was called the Decapolis. The ruling Roman Empire was pagan. The eastern neighbours of Israel, Moab, Ammon, Adam (Edom or Seir), the Arabs, etc, were pagans. The Egyptians to the south were pagans. The Graeco-Phoenicians to the north were pagans. The Aramites of Aram, modern 'Syria' were pagans. A little further were the pagan nations of the Assyrians and Chaldaeans of modern 'Iraq,' the Hittites and other Anatolian nations, the Cypriots, Greeks, Iranians, etc.

The Gauls followed the Druid religion. The Gauls occupied most of modern France, parts of Spain, England, Northern Italy, Asia Minor (Galatia), and also had contributed to the mixture of peoples that made up the communities of the Decapolis, Graeco- enclaves in Israel. If Jesus needed to learn from anyone, he needed go no further than the Druids. Egypt, though it had politically waned, still followed strongly its ancient paganism. The Egyptians were past masters in the occult. Why would Jesus Christ, if he wanted to learn these subjects, bypass Egypt, where he spent a few years of his childhood, in favour of a more distant India?

Before Alexander the Great overthrew the Persian Empire and inaugerated the Greek domination of West Asia, the Zoroastrian Persians and their magician-priests, the Magavan or Magi, dominated the region. But this did not end with the Greek Ascendancy. On the contrary, the Magi survived into the first few centuries of the Christian era. Why would Christ bypass Iran in favour of the more remote India? Is there any sane reason that Jesus would ignore all of these and go all the way to India to study paganism? Why India? Why not China or Japan, or Korea or Siberia further afield? Why not to the pagan nations of the Americas? Could he not have gone to Timbuktu? Or the Eskimo lands? Mars? Krypton?

The claim that Jesus went to India, then, is merely hogwash!

What is the myth of the 'missing years' of Jesus Christ? It is the lie that the time from when he, with his parents settled in in Galilee till the time he took up his public mission, is unaccounted for.

This myth is born out of pure ignorance. The Bible itself clearly tells us that "he went with them (his parents) to Galilee and was subject to them."

The Bible does not pretend to give a voyeuristic and detailed account of Jesus's life and doings. Instead, it teaches only the main points. Therefore the Bible does not provide the details of his life with his parents in Galilee, but briefly tells us that he lived with his parents till the time he began his public ministry.

What we have in Goa is a replacement population of technologically superior Aryan and non-aryan settlers, who have occupied the cultural and ecological space of original Kokni speaking tribal inhabitants who were driven away into the jungles. These Aryans and non-aryans were converted to Catholicism by the Portuguese.

The Goan Church today has become part of the Construction lobby. The Goan Clergy have lakhs of rupees in their accounts when their income is that of a daily wage worker. Many Goan priests are behaving improperly and are not doing anything for the laity.

In the Indian state of Goa, mass conversions were carried out by Portuguese missionaries from the 16th century onwards. The Hindu converts retained their caste practices. The continued maintenance of the caste system among the Christians in Goa is attributed to the nature of mass conversions of entire villages, as a result of which existing social stratification was not affected. The Portuguese colonists, even during the Goan Inquisition, did not do anything to change the caste system. Thus, the original Hindu Brahmins in Goa now became Christian “Bamonn’s” and the Kshatriya became Christian noblemen called "Chardos". The Christian clergy became almost exclusively Bamonn. Vaishya’s who converted to Christianity became "Gauddo's", and Shudras became "Sudir's". Finally, the Dalits or "Untouchables" who converted to Christianity became "Mahars" and "Chamars" (an appellation of the anti-Dalit ethnic slur "Chamaar"). The upper caste Gaonkar Christians have demanded that only their community be given positions on the Pastoral Council of Goa's Catholic Church, Several ethnic groups who did not convert to Christianity and remained Hindus (such as Marathas) were incorporated into the Christian caste of "Chaddho”.

During the Portuguese Inquisition those catholics from goa who fled towards Mangalore later on came to be known as Mangalorean catholics. The Goans hate these mangalorean catholics for betraying goa and refer to the mangalorean catholics by the name mangalorean snakes.

Goa was originally a part of Konkan, the Konkani language spoken by goan catholics is a dialect of Marathi language and Goa’s original name was Govapuri. The Marathis have condemned Konkani as, “.. a branch of Marathi; it has neither script nor literature; it is not a language.” ….The Aryans who migrated to India familiarized themselves in North India and established several languages based on the local influence. Depending on their geographical dispersion you can categorize two distinct groups. Punjabi, Rajastani, Gujarati, and Hindi evolved from Prakrit of Magadha and Sindhi Maithili, Assamese, Bengali originated from Shouraseni Prakrit. Konkani belongs to the second group, and hence some scholars regard Bengali or Assamese as the mother of Konkani language. As a legacy of its unusual colonial history Goa was inherited a mixture of language. Portuguese is still spoken as a second language by a few Goans, although it is gradually dying out. The official language of India is Hindi, which children in Goa are obliged to learn in school. Konkani is now accepted as the official language of the state and Marathi is also taught as a standard subject. Ironically the primary language used in many schools is none of the above - for most children are actually taught English. The arguments about continuing or abandoning this policy of placing such importance on English rage on. Most feel that continuing use of English is a distinct advantage to their children who will need it if they are to find good jobs in the future. Meanwhile children in Goa are taught three or four languages as a standard part of the school syllabus.

Styled as the ‘Sunaparant' (golden land on the west coast), ‘Aparant', ‘Goi', ‘Gomant', ‘Gomantak', ‘Gorashtra', ‘Goparashtra', ‘Kalyangude', ‘Govapuri and finally Goa perhaps to rhyine with Lisboa the Portuguese capital.

The sheer inaccessibility of Goa by land has always kept it out of the mainstream of Indian History. On the other hand, its control of the seas and above all the lucrative spice trade made it a much-coveted prize for rival colonial powers. Until a century before the arrival of the Portuguese adventure Vasco Da Gama who landed near Kozhikode in Kerala in 1498, Goa had belonged for over a thousand years to the kingdom of Kadamba. In the interim it had been successfully conquered by the Karnatakan Vijayanagars, the Muslim Bahmanis and Yousuf Adil Shah of Bijapur but the capture of the fort at Panaji by Alfonso De Albuquerque in 1510 signaled the start of a Portuguese occupation that was to last for 450 years.

Meanwhile, conversions to Christianity started by the Franciscans gathered pace when St.Francis Xavier founded the Jesuit Mission in 1542. With the advent of the inquisition soon afterwards laws were introduced censoring literature and banning any faith other than Catholicism even the long established Syrian Christian community were branded heretics. Hindu temples were destroyed and converted Hindus adopted Portuguese names such as DA Silva, Correa and De'Sousa which remain common in the region. The transitional influence of the Jesuits eventually alarmed the Portuguese government. The Jesuits were expelled in 1749 which made it possible for Indian Goans to take up the priesthood. However, standards of education suffered and Goa entered a period of decline. The Portuguese were not prepared to help but neither would they allow native Goans equal rights. An abortive attempt to establish the Goan Republic was quelled with the execution of fifteen Goan conspirators.

A spin-off of the British conflict with Tipu Sultan of Mysore (an ally of the French at the end of the eighteenth century, was the British occupation of Goa, a little known period of the region's history, which lasted sixteen years from 1797. The occupation was solely liberalization such as the restoration of Hindu's rights to worship, the nineteenth century saw widespread cvivil unrest. During British occupation many Goans moved to Mumbai and elsewhere in British India to find work.

The success of the post independence Goans struggle for freedom from Portugal owed as much to the efforts of the Indian Government who cut off diplomatic ties with Portugal as to the work of freedom fighters such as Menezes Braganza and Dr.Cunha. After a "liberation march" in 1955 resulted in a number of deaths and the state was blockaded. Trade with Mumbai ceased and the railway was cut off so Goa set out to forge international links particularly with Pakistan and Sri Lanka. That led to the building of Dabolim airport and a determination to improve local agricultural output. In 1961 Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru finally ran out of patience with his opposite number in Lisbon the right wing director Salazar and send in the armed forces. Mounted in defiance of a United Nations resolution "Operation Vijay" met with only token resistance and the Indian army overran Goa in two days. Thereafter Goa (along with Portugal's other two enclaves Daman and Diu) became part of India as a self governing Union Territory with minimum interference from Delhi.

Since Independence Goa has continued to prosper bolstered by receipts from iron-ore exports and a booming tourist industry, but it is struggling to hold its own against a tidal wave of immigration from other Indian States. Its inhabitants voted overwhelmingly to resist merger with neighboring Maharashtra in 1980's and successfully lobbied for Konkani to be granted official language status in 1987 when Goa was finally declared a full-fledged state of the Indian Union.

The catholic missionaries shout from the rooftops that they are not indulging in allurement based conversion activities but why is it that the missionaries operate only where the poorest of the poor especially where the tribals live or is it written somewhere in the Bible that only the poorest of the poor should be converted to catholicism.

90% of the catholic missionaries and nuns operating in India are from the state of Kerala. Most of this keralite malyalee nuns and missionaries have joined the nun/missionary profession merely to escape marital problems or inability in finding a suitable husband and brother don’t tell me that the malyalee nuns/missionaries are using their own pocket money in serving/converting the poor. The money is obviously coming from donors in western countries and if the missionaries claim that they are not receiving foreign funding then they should explain as to how they are able to meet various expenses in serving/converting the poor. The malyalee nuns and missionaries have fled from kandhmal to the safety of kerala leaving the tribals to fend for themselves in the relief camps.

The Malyalees or mallus whether they are hindus or catholics or nuns or missionaries they are very cunning people I have ever seen in my life time.. such a filth..the so called acceptance of mallus worldwide (go figure), mallus working as nurses equivalent to whores (not all the nurses only mallu nurses) and the way they play politics in companies, ghosh, you can write a poetry.

The tribals are poor but one thing which the tribals possess is land. Some of the Tribals who donate their land to the local church think that the clergy will utilize the land for the benefit of the tribals sadly the clergy end up using the land for their personal benefits. This is also happening in towns and cities where the clergy including bishops and cardinals who preach from the pulpit of charity and serving the poor but sell away church properties and use the money received from sale of church properties for their personal benefit.

Most of the lay catholics living in urban cities of India know about the corrupt activities of the clergy and the allurement activities of the missionaries but the clergy and the missionaries are not bothered at the same time the clergy and missionaries want the lay catholics to come out in large numbers to protest the atrocities inflicted by the sangh parivar. The sangh parivar is doing what they are doing because they have the support of the local police and administration.

Catholicism has died in Europe not because the church was separated from the state but because corrupt and unscrupulous priests entered the church system. The same thing is happening in India at present some of the poor catholics in urban cities are leaving the catholic church. The catholic clergy have misused the responsible freedom which the ecumenical council of Vatican-II granted them.

The Congress party is majorly responsible for the growth of poverty, corruption, unemployment, slums, anti-farmer sez policy, etc.

For peace and tranquility in India conversions, polygamy, sangh parivar, etc should be banned and the two child policy should be enforced vigourously.

The tragic turn of events in Kandhamal in Orissa once again highlights the urgent need for church authorities to immediately halt the fraudulent conversions of poor non-christians, which are causing so much heart-burning and cultural anxiety.

As the menace of conversions is perpetuated with the receipt of foreign funds, the existing Poor Christians (read lower caste Christians) in India have steadfastly demanded that the church utilize all foreign funds exclusively for the welfare and uplift of poor Christians who are suffering from terrible discrimination within the community and are living in a pitiable condition, deprived of basic necessities. Indeed, this is the reason why some poor christians have been petitioning the Government of India not to appoint Bishops, priests and nuns to official Commissions and Committees, and instead appoint ordinary Christians.

The church annually receives so much money that the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India (CBCI) and the National Christian Council of India (NCCI) should set up a Rs.1000 crore “Christian Development Fund” to ensure the integrated social and economic development of the existing poor christians in India.

Considering the confusion created by propagation activities in remote areas, some christians have been demanding that church authorities defer mass conversion programmes for at least a century. Evangelism cannot be a measurement of a society’s socio-economic development. Rather, the evangelism programme funds should be utilized for the welfare of poor christians who have already been converted to Christianity, and whose lot has not been improved by the church.

Instead of worrying about the living conditions of the existing poor christians, the church leadership is interested only in increasing the numbers of its flock. Even worse, a large chunk of foreign funds are being utilized for purchasing land and for the luxurious lifestyles of a few Christian leaders in India. As of now, the reality is that a handful of priests and bishops are monopolizing Church funds and property in the country. The Clergy including Priests, Bishops and Cardinals are monopolizing the Church estates and treating it as their own property and are indulging in its sale-purchase without the consent of the community.

The children of poor christians do not even complete their primary education. None of the 40,000 educational institutions run by the church give admission to the children of poor christians. This is the reason that in the last two decades many poor Christians have gone back to Hinduism due to maltreatment by the church. For this reason, some christians feel that the Government of India and the Supreme Court should redefine minority educational institutions and de-classify those Christian minority institutions which do not admit Christian children. They should also be taxed as commercial ventures.

There is no case for caste-based reservations for the Christian community in India, as this would institutionalize the discrimination against the poor Christians and blight their future forever. The teachings of Jesus Christ do not permit discrimination amongst his followers. All Christians are born in the image of God. Hence, if the Church in India pursues reservation for Christians on the basis of caste, it must pay compensation to poor Christians converted to Christianity in the past, for discrimination and oppression and false promises. The Government of India should also introduce special laws to protect Church property and land that is currently being misused and sold by vested interests.

Some christians also feel that the Vatican must stop appointing bishops and must follow the system in China. Poor christians must be appointed to important positions in the institutions of the Catholic Church. As the Church is the largest employer after the Government of India, poor Christians should be given 50% job reservations in Christian educational and medical institutions. There should be reservation of seats for poor christians, in Church-run schools, colleges, technical institutions and other vocational organizations.

Above all, the church should not criticize other religions, as this creates unnecessary ill-will. The time has come when pluralistic societies must be accepted. Hence the focus on fraudulent conversion and increasing the number of “rice Christians” does not serve the faith. The Church should instead promote multi-culturalism and inter- faith dialogue.
